These are not really accurate numbers. They are only the numbers that have been entered into the market.

There are a lot of money and btc sitting at exchanges waiting to be traded when the price is right.

Yes the current buy orders today means nothing, if the price were starting to crash i see the bulls putting so huge walls and the price wouldnt go below 350.. it would bounce back instantly

Most traders and miners have price alerts set on their phones... As price moves fast, the bids/asks will change rapidly as well. There's no point in looking at orders far off from price action.

11 mil seems like a small amount of money when wall st. is about to get in the game

I agree.  It seems like the nature of bitcoin (seeing how there are only 12 million or so in circulation right now) is to go up in value.  1 single person could double BTC overnight hypothetically (or triple or quadruple!)

This is just a snapshot perspective.  The reality is that if a price crash were to happen, huge buy walls would quickly be established by bulls

A market buy of 15837 BTC takes the price to $8000

A market sell of 27452 BTC takes the price to $50

Discuss

All else equal, and it never is, that means it's much more likely price will go to $8000 before $50.
