No, everything I have found were commercial units and three one offs manufactured by one guy. I am guessing these is a reason why they are not ideal.

Really the designs are quite simple. You can mount the electrical on the outside of the container and on the inside you just have to distribute power to racks and install some exhaust fans. In a space that small a passive intake with enough exhaust to pull through should be fine. What you need on that front depends on how power dense you are trying to go on the inside.

Thanks, I saw that but the BitFury container comes with the ASIC hardware included, and is hosted by them. I on the other hand would like to build, host, and maintain my own at my own location.

Has anyone ever released designs for a mining shipping container? I am considering different locations for upsizing an existing operation, but colocating locally or globally in a data center is not ideal, neither I want take on a warehouse lease. I have a friend with a sizeable warehouse a portion of which I can use but I can't find pre-built containers at a reasonable price. I am thinking I can build one from scratch using a retired unit.
Bitfury makes a shipping container that houses their miners. They used to have 2 options listed. One was smaller around 3-5 Ph/s the other was 15-20 Ph/s as I recall.
Here is a link to their site.
