That's why i try to post in each and every post that first try to use some reputed site . Secondly if you dont want to use that site and wanted to exchange your money from this forum must use an escrow which is the best to option for both buyer and seller, I dont know why people don't understand this point  Huh
You should not use a website as escrow. You will almost certainly end up getting scammed.

If you try to use a website to trade bitcoin then your risk is very high that you get scammed as there are a huge number of scam sites that deal in bitcoin

What about xmlgold. Its a really legit site i ever seen with lowest fees, I used this site few time and im in love with this site and now i recommend this site to every. This site manager is also there is donated 50 BTC to bitcointalk forum ,I think they will not scam us, What you say?
I have never heard of it. Who is the site manager? Never-mind found him, he is a VIP on here.

I really can't say if they are legit or not, however even if the escrow site is legit, it is very easy to trick escrow sites into siding with you. Your best bet would probably be to use a reputable person to act as escrow on the forum IMO

At least it was only for $20. Should be mandatory for newbies to use a forum escrow when trading with other newbies.

There also needs to be a message on PayPal threads that states "friends and family payment DOES NOT protect you"

Can you post a screenshot of the PM that you gave him your address? Can you also post your address so one can easily check it in a block explorer?

Absolutely.

What happened:: I sent him $20 with Paypal friends & family. He said said the bitcoin would come "through an exchange" (whatever that means; I now realize it was a handy way to deflect blame). Then he disappeared and stopped answering PMs. He's still active on this board. He didn't have the red warning on his account when I traded with him, obviously.

Amount Scammed: $20 USD

Payment Method: Payal friends & family

Proof of Payment:

PM/Chat Logs:

Additional Notes: I'd really like to buy a small amount of BTC from someone who won't scam me, so if you're willing to sell a small amount with Paypal friends & family, say $10-$20, PM me.

in the future, please restrain to trade with escrow

and avoid reversible payment method such as paypal

goodthing it is just a small amount there
