Mycelium is probably about 95% done with their HD wallet implementation, and will be releasing it soon.

Aegis Bitcoin Wallet - http://aegiswallet.com

It's open source and the most secure wallet for Android. Your keys are encrypted at all times. It's not HD yet but will be soon.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bonsai.wallet32&hl=en

It is open source, and allows for multiple "accounts" all under just one mnemonic phrase seed.

It's also open source, check it out on github.

Just bought my first smartphone today, a cheap android. I know nothing about bitcoin and phones, so can anyone recommend a deterministic android wallet? I find it much easier and safer over messing with backups.
