For a bether understanding why we incorporate virtual worlds.
Is simple - Lindendollars are the Second Life "currency" and the 3. biggest "currency" that is exchanged for Bitcoins.
Second Life once started with the virtual realms. Opensimulator is the opensource version of it. It is meanwhile the larger and worldwide open version of Second Life trough the Hypergrid
Opensimulator is an opensource Multi User Virtual Environment. It allows you to have much of the functionality from something like Second Life, and you can host it on any server you like.

It works good, we are not done with our tests yet, but so far the portion of my skin that was dried up on my hand is pretty much gone. I think it works good  so far.

get all the *.cvs from here (http://92.105.105.155/devcoin/) and place them in $HOME/.devcoin/receiver/

No coin addresses were found, there may be something wrong with the receiver_x.csv files.

hi! is there an ubuntu/debian package for devcoin? or an updated guide for build it? Thanks
get the source, install libdb++-dev libboost-all-dev and openssl-dev (or similiar), afterwards "make -f makefile.unix bitcoind"
check my signature for prebuild binarys (winblows and linux).

RELEASE:
uc_devcoin (Drupal 6.x DVC Ubercart module)
http://www.glari.ch:3000/attachments/download/35/uc_devcoin-0.0.1.zip

Version 0.0.1 is working stable but there are a lot of improovments possible.
A integration with the vircurex api, is the most plausible next step.

I forgot to add the 2/5 of share maintenance bounty for K1773R's block explorer in round 18. So it will be added to round 19:

Its a reality now, its a working project with exchange rates that are just steadily going up.

I'm just happy looking at the trading volume for DVC on VirCurEx. Second only to the BTC to USD exchange rate. More BTC value in devcoins is moving than in all of the other altchains together, even litecoin. There's especially a lot more moving around than the much hyped PPCoin.

Any suggestions on hosting hardware projects, licensing, version control, forks etc?

Where you have it now is fine. You can host it wherever you want to, you just have to link to it.

Typical license for schematics is GPL, MIT or BSD. Typical license for text is CC Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported (wikipedia license):

If you put documentation on devtome, you earn devcoins for those words:

Github has good versioning control and excellent uptime.
