Hello community, I am thinking to buy a dice game script and it up. I was wondering, what is a reasonable bankroll I need to have to pay out the initial winnings. Thank you!
Tbh, don't buy that dice game script. It's useless, I mean it's all about luck too. I think the best reasonable bankroll is around 1-5btc, more bigger is better but back again, this is provably fair and you can even lose 20 times streak loss. So don't forget to stop when you already win so many coins.
More bigger is always better if only what you are gambling or your minimum amount being used to gamble is low. That is the only time the stakes of loosing may not be high. For example, playing with a bankroll of 5 BTC and betting as much as 0.01 is pretty much a huge way to still lose all that you have. Just like you said, even 20 streaks of losses is small as I have heard more than that.

However, the best is just to realize that those streaks can come once in a while and then have a limit to the amount you can lose at the end so you do not lose all.

That is true, that is why most gambling sites have so much bankroll even if their max bet is just a very small fraction of the whole bankroll. Usually casinos set about 1% or less than that because they are also expecting that there would come times that there would be multiple people that would be hitting big wins a lot. So, Op should really provide a big bankroll.

That bankroll is too much, I encounter already 40 times lose streak @ 60% win chance rate at Primedice and I'm sure that your 5BTC bankroll will just be sucked up once it hits. 5BTC bankroll is too much to risk in gambling especially on a script which you don't know what program really contains it and most of the dice script contains malicious content that might result to lose your funds. It is better to do manual betting if you really want a huge bankroll to play.

I would never risk so much bitcoins on dice script, I'm sure that I would lose them all. Martingale is not a winning strategy, and there are bet limits, so you can have even more bitcoins that doesn't mean much. 40 times losing streak is a lot, my highest losing streak was 31 times and I lost more then 0.2 btc, in that time that wasn't so valuable like its now, but nevertheless I lost all of it and after that I never played dices with so big amounts of bitcoins.
Don't buy dice script is my recommendation too, better deposit couple mBTC and have fun, if you risk too much you can end with nothing, and people lost a lot of bitcoins on dices.

We have same thoughts, Most the dice script used martingale method and it obvious that it is a normal technique on dice game. Even the OP used huge amount of bank roll as I've said earlier. There is still a chance to max possible long streak on each winning chance rate settings. You are still lucky that you lose 0.2BTC for doing that method, I lost almost 2BTC for using that method in auto bet and leave my computer running for a day.
I cant see any special thing on those scripts either its free or paid. They do have common settings which same as you said it do make use on common way which is martingale there might be some modifications but yet i can still consider as the same.No matter how big your bankroll is if losing streak would hit you for sure you would lose up your entire balance.

Best recommendation: Research, learn, and understand the dynamics of the Kelly Criterion and similar models.  If you don't understand Kelly, then don't put your bankroll at risk ---> there are dice sharks lurking around in these threads who just can't wait for the opportunity to find  somebody willing to put their roll at risk! Start here ---> http://www.albionresearch.com/kelly/ and follow the leads.

It all depends what is your max bet.

I think that in order to attract more people the max bet should be a minimum for 0.5 btc, and that requires you to have a bankroll of about 100 bitcoins.
When the site gets bigger the bankroll will grow and you will be able to set up higher limit.
Just don't forget to put some money on the side for advertising, it is the important thing to make your dice site successful

Hello community, I am thinking to buy a dice game script and it up. I was wondering, what is a reasonable bankroll I need to have to pay out the initial winnings. Thank you!

A dice game script? Thats sounds risky to me. Because there a lot of malware out in the internet which make claims like "use this script and earn such btc everyday" and those are mostly scams. Scammers sell those scripts to get money from newbies who become greedy and also infect their devices with malware.

However Seuntjies DiceBot is a free software to automate your dice games. You can preprogram your rolls and strategy into the bot and it will run it using the API. It is the only legitimate dicebot out there.

However using a bot will not guarantee profits. In fact nothing can guarantee profits in EV- games. In the end the house edge will wipe away all your balance because the casino always wins.
Yeaa you have to consider about a script that might contain malware to steal every information you have in your computer.
I always prefer to bet on dice without any automated bet , the result in the end feel the same.
No matter how much bankroll you set , in the long term your whole money will get busted.

LOL don't you even read the last reply before you posted this? LuanX3 already corrected few people above you that the OP is asking for a site's bank roll not a "gambler's bank roll".
He is planning to run his/her own dice game and he's not talking to any 3rd party dice script like seuntjies bot. (probably OP already had his/her decision considering it was posted last september)
This is only a 2 pager topic and it's weird that some people didn't configure the right way of discussion. (http://archive.is/2OKGL)

Always bet % based on your bankroll.

This way, you can calculate the total bankroll you need to run the desired bets or the bets you can make with your current bankroll.

First off, what a stupid reply. You did not even try to understand the question of OP. He is asking if how much would be required to run his own casino. That means he is asking the opposite side of things. The question involves answering whether what's an optimal amount of btc to start a bankroll of his own.

To answer this, likely you need about 100 BTC, since usually casinos base their highest bet size from the bank roll. Usually casinos set 1-5% of the bank roll as max bet. It would be best if you can get a max of 1btc per win.

If you plan to open a dice casino site, I think it would be better to have a minimum bankroll of around 30 bitcoins in your wallet, big whales can be really lucky sometimes and win a huge amount of money from playing dice within a few days, you can try setting up an investment options for investor if you want to increase your bankroll, but I don't think there will be many investors who will invest in a totally new dice site.

Maybe you should open up your website to investors and the offer them 50% profit shares. Then you don't even have to wrry about a bankroll. The size of the bank roll is up to you but use a formular to let the players know what the max bet is. Just be honest and open and let your users know about the situation. After the first few weeks or months it should get much easier as the bankroll increases.

It all depends on your want if you have a good concept and lack of money for bankroll, I think you can open an investment to cover your shortcomings. but the problem is that nowadays there are too many dice gambling sites, of course some of them already have their favorite sites and regularly will not move on the new site because they already know that the place they play is fair.

To be honest, if a pet project starts making some BTC, there is no reason to run away Smiley

That is true but if the project didn't go as per we planned than people may change their mind.

Dear All! I would like to thank you again for your kind answers. The engagement of the community is astonishing. I will certainly check MoneyPot and Betking. MoneyPot seems promising at the moment.

If you can't arrange so much fund for bankrolls then it is good to go with moneypot until you make some money and also you will gain some experience in managing gambling site. Later on, you can plan for your own site.

First off: you can start tiny with a bankroll size of about 10 BTC, where you allow a max win of .25% of the bankroll: 0.025BTC.

If you want to compete with the larger guys, and have a max win of around 10BTC (or maybe ever larger), and assuming you don't want to risk too much of your bankroll, you will need at least a 4000 BTC bankroll.

Also, don't forget that the amount is probably even higher, because there are all kind of expences that you have to pay.

i think 10btc not enough for bankroll , if you start with this amount your website coudl be dead since the first days , because there's too many wabsite and you have to be with Tops and the best way to be is having great bankroll and max win around must be high
its really not that easy to put up this type of business bankroll is a must, with high bankroll you will be able to compete with well known houses, and you can provide good promotions for your site unless you just wanted to open a business and run right away when winning some btc.

It's not enough and if I want to make a dice site I'll consider the saturated market for dice sites and casino's. But if you insist and you have the guts to pursue this project of yours I'm not going to stop you. Why not try to think of something new that's not yet being offered by most of the casino's and I guess it's better for you to stay with that idea. Anyway still good luck to your project.

I think there are plenty of dice sites already and if you want to compete with them you need to offer something that they don't have, lower house edge and bigger maximum win, so it means you will need large bankroll. No one will come to play dice if your bankroll is for example 1 bitcoin(because max bet/win will be very low)

Hello Community! thank you all for your kind answers and advice. As I have mentioned in a previous post, I own a domain name which gets a decent daily amount of Type-in Traffic from crypto gamblers. This is mainly because it is very similar to another Crypto-Dice domain name and from my understanding, people mistype it and end up on my website all the time!!. I am quite aware of the management and marketing requirements, hopefully I can fulfill that part, being an M.A. in International Economics Wink

Nice background since you have a decent educational background you know how to market things out. And you are aware of those big dice sites that has been operating for years now. In that case that you are getting good daily traffic because of the mistype letters / spelling for a specific website, there's nothing they can do now if those gamblers will shift to your new dice site. This amount should be a good start up
First off: you can start tiny with a bankroll size of about 10 BTC,
As you keep on operating, you have to get some more investors for bigger bankroll and max winnings.

Better to build your own script so you will have your own dice platform characteristics.
But of course it cost a lot of money , if you just looking for a mainstream dice site then it is okay to buy it rather than build a new one.
I just think the competition is so thight in bitcoin dice , a lot of trustworthy site managed by trustworthy member existed already here , you might struggle to compete with them. Goodluck by the way.

Aren't there so many dice sites already? chances of success will be less, you'll have to compete with well known sites, of course if you have money you can compete with them, but you probably don't have 1000s of BTC. Roll Eyes
anyways if you still want to run a dice site, don't buy a pre-made script! hire someone trusted to code the site for you, have a bankroll of 50+ BTC! or you could use platforms like moneypot, betking(not sure when it'll be available, keep an eye) and forget about bankroll, just build your site and promote.
They would probably build a dice site if you do try to look in the market most of sites are dice which they do assume that it would really be profitable too for them when they would decide to create one.I would say you would need hundreds of BTC on starting up and putting a percentage limit on max win so that it wont easily be bust up when there are players who are lucky enough.

This really depends on how many betting volume are you expecting to get, if your bankroll will be too small to handle all the bets, you will be significantly risking to lose some or all of it. You should read about Gambler's Ruin theorem to get some understanding on how it works. But generally, most good sites start with some big amount like 50 BTC (historically it was 100-300 BTC and higher) to be safe and their bankroll grows from open investments. Also, your bankroll is what will be limiting your maximum allowed win per one bet which should be 0.5-2% of your total bankroll to be safe from lucky high rollers.

This feature to set a max winning percentage of the total bankroll is very important to prevent losses you can't afford to pay people who are gambling on your site, principally at the beginning, when the bankroll is usually lower.

Try to have biggest bankroll as possible to attract gamblers that like to bet high and consequently spend more money on your site, these guys give some nice profit for the house when playing. The little fishes play low and don't generate much profit. I agree that 0.25% of total bankroll maximum bet is adviced.

Anyway, to have a big bankroll isn't a guarantee to have success. There are another skills very necessary like marketing and management.

Hello community, I am thinking to buy a dice game script and it up. I was wondering, what is a reasonable bankroll I need to have to pay out the initial winnings. Thank you!
30 btc or higher. If you can't afford to risk such amount you can use moneypot to back your site's bankroll. Think twice before buying a dice game script because with many dice sites right now it'll be a tough task to gain profit and players.

Those guys that have a large bankroll have opened their investment to the public so everyone can put how much they wanted to.

First off: you can start tiny with a bankroll size of about 10 BTC, where you allow a max win of .25% of the bankroll: 0.025BTC.
