I come up with idea to build a dice machine that will mix the dice and have video camera broadcasting, so people would see that.

You think that would work?

Why not simply base the dice off of a known hash of a known value, such as the current time down to the ms?

You will always get accusations of cheating, since a live feed cannot detect other scams, such as weighted dice.

Thanks 😊

Real life dice.
So players will know for sure no one play around with the code or able to hack it. In digital world everything can be hacked, broken and taken. And i believe for professionals it's going to be not hard to brake into my web server and see what is going on.

But if the dice machine will do by real dice, it's gonna be very hard to hack it.

If you have a casino running and people are betting on which number if going to end up in each roll/even or odd/red or black and so on, you can develop a niche game based on this "video dice".

There's already tons of dice games out there, from live to digital.

Digital Dice from BGaming: https://www.rooli.com/game/rocket-dice-xy
Live Dice from Evolution: https://www.rooli.com/game/craps-evolution

What would be the benefit of this specific game then?

We live in a world where everything are digital and almost every game of chance are backed by a technology that are "provably fair"

AI are based on data that are created by humans and then used by AI to produce something. So it is still the same concept of "garbage in... garbage out"

Rather hire someone that can do something proffesional and sign a contract with him/her to protect your idea. So if something goes wrong, then someone will be able to help you to resolve it.

Yes. I use ChatGPT to build me the basic code and than I advance it. gg

OK.  My advice is this:   Build something basic, but unique.   Then get some supporters, experience and ideas.

AI is a great tool in eliminating redundant code.  But you still need an idea others do not have.

I'm not that professional.

You mean you don't have the skills to do that.  Smiley

Its something new so I would not just shoo away the concept.

If you have a casino running and people are betting on which number if going to end up in each roll/even or odd/red or black and so on, you can develop a niche game based on this "video dice".

If you can market this properly, you can get a lot of customers because gambling sells. How you set up the game to be fair in the next question as @Stalker22 correctly pointed out.

If you mean designing an online casino with a dice-mixing machine and real-time video feed, then no, I do not think that would work.

While an online casino with a dice mixer and live video could seem more transparent, it unfortunately would not guarantee fair odds.  Even with random rolls and real-time footage, there would still be ways to game the system behind hte doors.  For fairness wed need more than just uncensored footage of the roll.  A site would have to open their whole operation to audits and oversight from stem to stern.  And even then, risk always looms when money is on the line.

Is that the reason why are are looking for investors for almost a year now?  Roll Eyes

I don't see any good reason to create this, and I can see multiple ways for this to be abused with fake recordings.
Not to mention that it's really cheap to simply buy your own dices and use them whenever you need them.
