Join the world-leading crypto sportsbook NOW!
Just throwing this out here but I'm almost certain that there has to be some local lingo as Bitcoin is almost ten years old now. English is of course the first to popularise terms but pretty sure our peers in China could add a significant section.

Also, an etymology for each term is really important... Would make the site unique and help users understand better how to use them. Noticed Hodl is suggested on landing page. A whole history behind it originating from thia very forum!

It's a great idea and once you've got all definitions added, I could really see this getting quite a few visitors.
I'd focus on adding all definitions for terms that you've already added. I can see that there are quite a few missing still.

Looked at the word 'genesis block' and there's nothing.
Its still on early phase where it would really need takes time for it to be completed since not all words on crypto market will able to add up completely. Ive search up some words and its not being listed yet but suggestions above would really give some add up when it comes to terminologies. This would be a helpful site specially for those who had just recently join crypto.Id always prefer to have that suggested search as Joel said so that user will able to point out directly on the things they would seek on.

Thank you for your feedback, I will add the autocomplete search and more definitions very soon but you can also start to contribute by signing in with Twitter. Everyone can add new words and write definitions Wink

Feel free to give me feedback about the website
  • Get rid of "RECENT ACTIVITY" area (useless).
  • On main page, change the location of "search field" from footer to header.
  • Instead of using your own personal twitter account (on footer area), you might want to create & use a dedicated twitter account.
  • Add filters...

Looking forward to this project...

Done ! And filters will be available soon Smiley

Get your game girl
Your project is really interesting and have a great potential.

You really need to enhance the interface with auto-suggest and fuzzy matching. The word for 'chain' returned Blockchain, so fuzzy matching it with the auto-suggest in real time will give user a better idea of what exactly they're searching for.

Also check how every keyword searched for is appended as the form param. That looks bad.Use event.preventDefault()

Take a look at this thread: Terminology

At least a few of those are not in your dictionary.

Thanks man, I was looking for something like this. This is very useful for newbies, as they are bombarded with acronyms and tech-words when they come here.
