Hi, new here just to say I and  friends are after much research, are using group bitcoin.com.  As stated here we  members are going next month to an event  at their new place,  exellent service, they are always available to help and answer any questions, they answer e.mails  quickly. They are also aware of the technical difficulties of the mining, and change their rigs every rear or more, these two guys are genuine and you can go meet them,  so glad we found them.  I know we all have to be careful, but their are some genuine people out there,  we  just have to  be dilligent and check things out. We are  very pleased with group bitcoin and returns to wallet are on time.

Rates are ok but the customer service could need some improvements.

Is this about us ?

Why the heck do you think anything in this thread has something to do with you or your company?

thanks for your replies guys, I agree with you riekinho and my main fear is they claim they want to stay anonymous, and also yes prices seem to good to be true compared to most other clouds mining I was researching, I am now more oriented toward groupbitcoin.com , did anyone try that one? they have address and contact number and seem to be based in london, it seems more trustworthy to me Smiley

Maybe you didn't read the thread from the start?...

The guy that made this thread also mentioned us in another very similar thread they started.

I'd rather we weren't considered similar to such obvious scam sites like this Alpha thing. That is all.

Very unhappy to be in the same general conversation as this obvious scam site.

Also quite depressing none of our members have come to the rescue to say we're genuine.

We've got some reviews on our site using a thing called Yotpo, it verifies reviewers through their email or social media accounts, could be faked with a bit of difficulty but it's not. Also number 1 on cloudminingreviews.com these things are good but don't hold much weight, it would have been a lot nicer to see a few people back us up!

We're not interested in a quick buck we're here to stay, If you live near London give us a ring and come and meet us, we've just moved into a new unit and will be putting some pictures up of our server room soon.

Also working on a whole new Joomla site with live stats, as with all Bitcoin businesses we're relatively new, started in October 2013.

Answer to op. no... and its smells scam.
A new "flag" uppon cloud hashing ponzi scams with too good to be true deals is the newbie accounts ( less than 10 posts) that come to life and *guarantee* that is a valid and legitimate service.

Well, obviously, I hope you are wrong  Wink

If they are a scam and are waiting till they have taken in enough BTC before jumping ship.  I hope they continue to pay me like they have with the first payment until that point.

Until then we shall see, i'll keep you up to date

This is the exact same thing everyone on the Ponzi leancy thread says too.

Being scammed more then once (which I'm not proud of) I strongly suspect alpha-miners.com to be a scam!

Reasons:
1. too good to be true prices
2. yummy website with badly rendered/stolen images of who knows what equipment
3. Bitcoin only payment
4. no company behind it
5. people claiming that they have been paid in their 1st post on the forum
6. custom mining hardware
7. 5-year contract which is meaningless in this game

Tell me where can you buy 1 Th of minining power for 4800$ (their price for 1 Th of hosted and maintained mining power - 8 BTC + 600$), let alone host and maintain it for 5 years for 4800$. Essentially they ARE GIVING AWAY 3 AND HALF YEAR OF HOSTING FOR FREE AND WAIT, THAT'S NOT ALL, YOU GET 1 TH miner on top of it.

My guess is PONZI SCHEME - they made their ROI on 60+ plus days so they can basically return you your coins until pool of unsuspecting investors grows big enough and they end up with satisfactory amount of Bitcoins.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is, so anyone who wants to bet against it not being a scam is welcome!

Yes, I am using http://alpha-miners.com/ref/id/144. Account setup was fast, and support was responsive. I purchased 20GH/s with 0.16 BTC. I am waiting to see my first payment on Mar. 8, 2014.

hello! I came across this service: http://www.alpha-miners.com/ and is seems like a good deal, for example with 0.4 btc I can get 50 GH/s for 5 years, which would give me back (at present time) 0.008 btc a day, they claim to be anonymous though, and I couldn't find pretty much any review about them anywhere, so I am interested in buying one of their packages but at the same time I'm afraid they could run away with my money , is anyone using this service? and if not, would you recommend it or is there any other similar service maybe more known and guaranteed / tested that would offer similar prices? thank you
