I wasn't necessarily talking to you (OP) just like to share the knowledge of experience and let others learn from my mistakes.

Everyone be sure to use REAL 2 factor authentication, not something you can do all on one computer/device. Or something like a YubiKey and remember to unplug it.

I really doubt it could be my PC. Im very cautious at what i will install or use.

I read somewhere that someone used an exploit to gain access to several accounts in bittrex but just would like to verify.

All my other coins are safe.

I have no idea about Bittrex but I had some bitcoin stolen from my Coinbase account after my computer was taken over because I downloaded bad stuff  (a site that claimed to be DarkWallet) and my 2FA was sent to my Google Voice which was accessible on my computer. I learned my lesson the hard way (-0.7 BTC)

Might want to do a re-install of your OS just to be sure. And of course use real 2FA.

this happen a couple of weeks back and lost a small amount around 0.2BTC. I did not have 2af activated so i guess it was partly my fault for not securing it properly however, i have emailed customer service to only get one reply from them claiming they will investigate. after 4-5 emails sent to them,  i havnt had a reply yet. Do not care if it is small amount, its principles that matter.

Not sure if there was an exploit or something that gave access to all these accounts or was it just me that got affected :S?

looking at the address it was sent to, there are several deposits on the same day near the same time.

...

anyone have any more info on this?

maybe any bittrex devs can clear this up?
