It's old news mate and true. where have you been, in the past?? Bitcoin broke above the 70k price since early March this year 2024 to be precise.. it's new ATH is around $73737. You can check here bitcoin-price-index to see.. the news you came across was released in March as well. You should also check that.

Oops, my bad. I forgot to check the date***
I was in a rush to post because of the excitement from the recent Bitcoin bullish movement.

Thanks for pointing that out, I was wrong. My apologies.

@kryptqnick, thanks for the input, well noted for next time.

@kryptqnick brother and @Botnake brother Rightly said. When this news was done it was March 8 2024. I understand that the post may appear suddenly to you and you may not have noticed the time you posted it.But date must be noted while posting.

The Bitcoin market rose to record highs on some exchanges. On the Binance exchange we have seen a high of $73777. The market touched the highs and started to slowly move downwards and ended up dumping at $49000. But the market is currently on the road to recovery. We have seen the Bitcoin market up to $66260 Today. It is expected that the market will recover very soon.

When analyzing publications, one of the first things to look at is the publication date, so that timeliness is taken into account alongside the source, its credibility, target audience, etc. This article is from March, when the price hit over $70k. So the information is true, but timing of posting it now is wrong because it's from the past.
For now, Bitcoin is at $65k. That's pretty close to $70k if you ask me, but not close enough.

I was surprised to read that on Cointelegraph with the headline:

"Bitcoin price hits $70K all-time high as US jobs data squashes US dollar."
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-hits-70k-all-time-high-us-jobs-data-dollar

But when I checked on CoinMarketCap, I didn't see any amount of $70K. It reminded me that this news outlet has reported fake news in the past.

Although it's mentioned here

Quote
Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView followed buoyant BTC price action as bulls sent the market into price discovery, reaching $70,184 on Bitstamp.
can we verify this?
