Well, you get a scam project, next time you have to be more careful in choosing an ICO project. currently it is very difficult to see ico who really will pay and will run better.
You need research to choose ico so you can avoid scams, or at a minimum you can choose ico, which is led by a trusted forum person.

In your situation where you are not getting any reward token from your bounty campaign, I think that something might have been wrong with the ICO itself wherein you might end up being scammed. Next time, if you are going to participate in a bounty campaign, just make sure you did some research about that particular ICO prior to joining. It's the best way to prevent from joining scam ICO's if you consider doing it  and also try to check on the spreadsheets if there are many high rank members involved with the project just to know you are on the right path.
Obviously, there's something wrong with the ICO, I see lots of project stop by the bounty manager after a couple of weeks because its not generating enough buzz, thus will not even hit a soft cap. Unless they're brutally honest to say that and as bounty hunters you can't do anything about it but to move on and look for the next campaign.

I followed the instructions to the bounty posted on BitcoinTalk. I submitted the links to my articles. I asked BEFORE the bounty was distributed IF I needed to submit my articles any where else or do anything else. They told me I was "All Good". I put all of the work I did for the bounty in the bounty log on discord. I made posts about Eth Town on Reddit, Steemit, Twitter, etc. and constantly replied/supported the project. My life got busy and I stopped checking the discord channel because I assumed I was "all good". The main net was delayed and I never received any bounty/airdrop.

These are the messages I received from the manager. I need to know... Am I at wrong or did I get scammed?

Unfortunately, it happens now quite often. There are a lot of cheaters among ICO teams. And all our independent research can not guarantee that this will not happen again in the future. Our research most likely can only have a random result. Everything should change for the better only if the states begin to regulate the process of conducting an ICO and before this check the command of each ICO. Then there will be at least some guarantee. Now it is almost spontaneous, "wild" activity.

Bounty is enough full of risk. When we are working on a campaign for months and with taking seriously that's not a guarantee we'll get a big salary and even quite the scam. Therefore when following the project see the first whitepaper, developer & team and also the bounty manager. Choose bounty maager that has a good reputation,it is at least minimize our work on the bounty scam. You need more check your task before leaving all that for your daily job.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Lately there are all sorts of projects out there, so be cautious before you join for their bounty campaigns. I tend to do the same research as I would do if I'm investing money in some project, because even though I'm not investing my money I'm investing my time and that means pretty much too.

Especially if you join multiple bounty campaigns it is kinda hard to watch for every rule because they all might be different. And some bounty managers are flexible but some aren't that much. Just be sure to keep track of the rules, and yeah sometimes it is good to document your conversation with bounty managers in situations like that. But even that won't help out if project turns out to be a complete scam...

Bounties that pays in tokens are always risk.
Look for reputable and trusted managers. There are some bounties out there that pays with btc, which are much safer too.
Try to explain the best you can the situation at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 Scam Accusations board.
If it was your first bounty, it is possible that you made something wrong too, so they skipped your payment. Try to contact the manager before opening the accusation..

Ideally, bounty hunters should be paid either by Bitcoin or Eth but unfortunately it is hard to find a project that uses this method of paying their hoards of promoters. Recently I got lucky to be a part of the MetaHash campaign that did pay their people with Eth and not their tokens though I would also be glad to accept their tokens since the project has the good potential to be a top platform in months to come. Right now, the ICO platform is losing the steam as many investors are now shying away from supporting many projects as many investors already lost money or their investments are trapped in low value as of the moment. Nobody does want to spread money and get nothing substantial at the end because this is not charity but business or investment.

You can attach these allegations to this forum so that such bounty managers can get negative trusts from the Bitcointalk admin.
Then you also have to compromise with your friends to ask this to the bounty manager.

some of my friends also do not get rewarded them, some of them say if the error lies in the kyc is not completed. with the task should all participants that follow deserve to get their rewards. but the manager of the bounty seems to make excuses for not paying some of the bounty hunter.

There are also fraudulent campaigns that trick people into participating. I have met the campaign when the participation is completed, the bonus is very little. Not enough to make up for the effort. How to avoid this scam happening in the future. Anyone with experience sharing please help me.

Matrix Built On An Ethereum Smart Contract
As others have already said a good place to start is the Scam Accusations section. I also go after the scammers on social media and not just the company but the individuals involved in the decision to deny me what they owe me. Any of the people who have been foolish enough to not pay me for the work I did can attest that I will continue to trash them on social media until they pay up. Even if it takes, weeks, months or years. I keep them on a spreadsheet and devote a couple hours a week to making their life a misery, I actually kind of enjoy it.

Try to join only bounties that are managed by the best managers on the forum. From my experience Amazix, Sylon, btcltcdigger and Bountyhive always pay the promised coins from their campaigns. There are other great managers also, so do a better research before you join a bounty campaign.

If you got scammed for a bounty, probably after doing all of your bounty tasks, you ended up not getting rewards, I would advise that you shouldn't give up yet and start to think that there's never anything to gain from doing bounties, but keep in mind that you have to do some underground researches next time before involving in a campaign, to make sure that the bounty is legit and not going to be another waste of time.

To be honest, I had been in the forum for 10 months now and still I happen not able to experience being paid for the bounties that I had joined. Even if it is very unfair on my part since my 10 months of my participation hasn't paid off, I decided to still continue for I believe I will make it someday. Anyways, in connection to your problem, try to contact the bounty manager for the status of the bounty campaign that you are participating. I believe that this scam ICO can be prevented if only these ICO's that are running their campaign in this forum should be atleast be filtered or screened properly.

There are indeed risks in this business and that can partly because there are many Bounty Managers who are not good on what they are doing and they allowed themselves to get corrupted by self-serving interests instead of sharing what should be reserved for the people who worked for the bounty project. This kinda sad to hear that in this industry we are being victimized by the selfishness of other people. Cryptocurrency is now being held by so many scammers, phishers and hackers...m not wondering if there are many people who are shying away from this industry all because they are afraid to be part of the victim statistics...just like me. As an industry, we should really be doing something about this problem.

yes, it looks like you have been exposed to fraud by the project. to prevent this from happening again you have to learn a lot and analyze a lot about a project so you will not be trapped in this situation. You only spend time by following a scam project.

I know that being a bounty hunter must be ready to accept all projects that do scams, I have experienced many scams while participating in bounty campaigns, many people ask how to avoid scam ICOs? I think it is very difficult to avoid scam ICOs, this forum should have regulations and filters for registered ICOs.

This is normal in bounty hunting, expect that you will not get some token from your work. You should know this kind of risk, and if you failed in some of your work do work again, there’s a lot of good bounties out there try to figure it out. You not got scammed, it just so happen that you work with a failed project.

For me airdrops are not good, because you can recieve only a penny crypto coins, from the project airdrops thats you participated and sometimes are not, while in other hands you asking if your scam from the bounty or  airdrops  thats you participated,i thinks there are times thats they delayed to give your bounty rewards, because of bad market situation now,so its better to wait  a little patience and try to communicate in telegram the community manager,of when should you recieve your works of labor in participation.

I can understand how painful it is when you put in much work to do a bounty and at the end of the day, you were not get paid, it's very painful, i went through the conversation between you and the bounty manager and I think the problem is that you are not checking on them to get the latest information from them, I have been in a bounty where i didn't get paid because i was not following up on the bounty thread, as a bounty hunter, you should always follow up on the bounties you are participating to know if something changed, or there is an information.

Terms and conditions don't mean much in crypto, you do the work with the risk of not being paid the bounty. Some don't care about us bounty hunters they think our work is not important and we are just out to get free tokens to dump. Choose you project wisely and look for good bounty managers

You need to get your hands on the terms that the bounties were done on, that is the way that you can know if you are wrong or not. But really if you look at the rules for the bounties now you will see where they say that they reserve the right to remove anyone from their bounty and they do not have to explain why so maybe that is what happened here.

Is there a written copy of the terms of the bounty? Was it specified beforehand that you had to be active in their discord, in order to receive the bounty?
Did you know that they were going to issue the bounty after contacting you on Discord?

If not, I'd say it's definitely a scummy thing to do, from their side.

There is a dedicated channel for scam accusations where this post would probably be better suited. Why don't you contact some of the other participants and if they also were not paid than write a post detailing your experience in the scam accusation section.

Thank you for the advice. Much appreciated.

I think you need provide more information about this project and the conversation between you and bounty manager.

And you can move this post to Scam Accusations section. If there are other participants be scammed like you, they will confirm that.
