I'm happy to create a Telegram group to share info and possibly organise an application to the appropriate authorities. Please PM me for details.

Has anyone tried notifying the appropriate cyber crime authorities? They stole over a million dollars worth in Ether and I imagine would be a high priority target. All anyone has to do to catch them is go to Twitter, Facebook, Medium, Slack, their web hosts and follow the digital traces. All the funds are traceable on the blockchain too.

Also anyone interested in creating a discord to pool resources to catch these guys?
Forget about that, the authorities will give nothing for you, because so many official said that about invest in the ico that becomes your own risk that means the authority can't take any responsibility. At least these scammers can be detected.

It is very hard to catch them. because crypto transactions are decentralized and it is hard to prove the identity of the senders/recievers. That is why it is called safe and secured. Following the transactions is something really hard.

I don't know what a discord is but I'd like to do what I can to help catch these people. Is there anyone else who participated in this ICO?

I have amalgamated some information about the Magos scam project on my Steemit page to help anyone who may try to find out who the scammers are and/or report them to the appropriate authorities.

I am also waiting for the right information for masos, because I have already been involved in it, so please give me the latest news if anyone has it. I hope all will be fine.

The original ICO Site magos.io isn't reachable anymore Huh
Probably the case came from the past where supposedly people were just scamed and no one bothered who bought the tokens so probably it's that.

Looked like a promising project (blockchain and AI), and the ICO was conducted last August.

Now, official website (https://magos.io) is down, and all the official social pages I could check seem to be gone (https://twitter.com/MagosNetwork and https://www.facebook.com/MAGOS.io/).

Anybody has some fresh info about MAGOS?
This project already died and that was the new info about the magos project if the developer or scammers behind the magos was the people from india, Magos already died and everything about that must be forgotten.

Never heard of it til here. If it is true that they rebranded, they should have kept all the old social media and website links, and just asked users to redirect. Otherwise you may have returning people see the dead links and come to their own conclusions. Can anyone here share details about the scam? Did they raise much? How did the scam happen? Why the rebrand, was this because of the scam?

Would be good to share so we all learn from this.

Thanks for the answers, it helped.

Apparently, the project got a new name, AiO, with a new website and pages: https://aio.network https://twitter.com/AiO_token

Not much info there, but it's announced that "Everything is still going according to the road map, starting in November."

Many people are claiming that it's a scam. It's either that or the crypto-project with the worst communication team ever...

Wait and see.

I remember this project. As i heard they scammed people and escape. But i think they distrubuted some tokens to investors and bounty hunters. But who cares about those useless tokens after the project is scam.

Seems that they rebranded to AiO but I don't have any positive feeling, I'm also following this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/magosio-sports-oracle-ai-100-scammers-2111568
