Hi Nekomata,

On a side note, the DIF is going to jump 25% (410 to 536) Shocked in the next 2 hours.  I haven't seen something like that before. Seems like a lot of miners want in.

At 100 reads and no responses I'm thinking that the answer is a resounding "no".

Has the Bitcoin community ever done something like this before?

I mean we've read about prior scams/heists of Bitcoins, I'm just wondering if there was ever a community initiative to help out those that were victimized or was it a "you're outta luck" attitude. I'm genuinely asking because I don't know.

Also, other than Bitcoins, were there heists of other types of coins in the past?

Thanks in advance folks.
