WPP ENERGY - BACKED ASSET GREEN ENERGY TOKEN

I don’t believe any prediction about the coming value. I still remember someone on the interview said I can say by the end of 2018 the bitcoin will reach 100,000. Why didn’t he predict there is a super lowest point around 6,000? Prediction is stupid. There are many uncertainties factors in altcoin market.

Because they are predictions and they are not psychics. It is still possible that the price could hit $100,000 (although unlikely), even though it reached the low of $6000. Most of these predictions are longer term and do not account for shorter term volatility.

Chamath Palihapitiya
Prediction: Bitcoin at $100,000 by 2020/2021, $1 million by 2037.

Chamath Palihapitiya ran AOL Instant Messenger and later served as an executive at Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ:FB). He founded the venture capital firm Social Capital in 2011, which has invested in startups such as Box Inc (NYSE:BOX) and Yammer, which was acquired by Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) in 2012.

He also is part-owner of the Golden State Warriors.

Palihapitiya got in early, having bought bitcoin at around $100 a coin. He owned $5 million in bitcoins in October 2013, when it was trading under $200.

Still, Palihapitiya thinks bitcoin can appreciate further. On December 12, he predicted that bitcoin would reach a price of $100,000 in three or four years, and $1 million within 20 years.

Palihapitiya is known for making bold predictions. As I noted in 2016, he sees Amazon reaching a market capitalization of $3 trillion. Last year, he predicted that Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) would eventually capture 5% of the global market for cars and a $336 billion valuation.

I think his prediction about 100 000 thousand is ok. I am expecting it to happen by 2022 though.
I hope we are both right. We just need to wait it out and see

Comprehensive Blockchain Billing Protocol
About the total market capitalization of 3 trillion, this is not fantastic and can be achieved within a few years, but then the question arises and what the price of coins should be at such a sum. Maybe everything in this market, no one believed that bitcoin could reach 20k in 3-4 months. So maybe somewhere in the distant future there will be such a price.

He owns many bitcoin so what we had to expect him about his statement. He will surely speculate the price of bitcoin for more profits on his side and makes a hype to make a good impression to the new buyers. Yeah, I do hope that it will go that way.

If Bitcoin sticks around and goes from strength to strength then 100k is well within reach. The latter prediction of $1m will depend greatly on the success of the dollar. I do believe that a better way of measuring the price of bitcoin would be to disccount for inflation of FIAT in some way, perhaps measuring against a basket of consumer goods.

No,i do not agree with him.
even though it's a good thing for us,what we are looking for now is a global adoption.
if we are reaching that point i am afraid only a few from us that could afford to buy it.
with that people will hesitate to use it as their main form for every transaction, what we are looking for now is a global adoption.
it is too early for Bitcoin to reach that,it might reach that point after 20 years($100.000).
of course it will only happen if everything is went well like (regulation, globally accepted and fraud control).
for now ? it is far from that.
(we could see it,but it will become a bubble)
Even thinking off 100k usd on 20 years would be somehow hard and we dont even know if bitcoin would still exist those days or crypto will sustain further on future. We do really indeed need adoption! I dont really care too much if we do reach up new heights on bitcoins price and same as you said anyone cant really afford anymore to buy such matter.Regarding on those bold prediction i do see that those are just coincidence  Cheesy . No one can predict future thats why we do make speculations.

I don't agree with this prediction, after 3 years something will replace btc some coin that has better technology. I am afraid that if some big companies will start using blockchain without anycoins, crypto can dump very very hard.

It's not a bad prediction. $100,000 within 2 years might be challenging, but within 3 years I would say yes. All it takes is for a few countries to act as whales and adopting it as a usable currency and then the market will jump due to fomo.

If bitcoin reaches $ 100,000 it is very good for those who have a lot of bitcoin, then who will buy bitcoin? only people who have a lot of money can buy bitcoins.
If you haven't noticed, bitcoin is divisible to down to eight decimals. 0.00000001 BTC is called 1 satoshi. So even if 1 bitcoin is $100,000 people can easily buying satoshis, for example, 1000 satoshis would be $1. If 1 bitcoin is $1,000,000, 100 satoshis would be $1. If needed, the Bitcoin network may reach a consensus to divide bitcoin even more, given that bitcoin is infinitely divisible.

As for the price prediction, it is well within the range of possibilities. It is not hard to imagine sharp increase in market capitalization in the following decades. Market capitalization of trillions of dollars ($1,000,000,000,000) and even tens of trillions are not beyond reach. From there, it is not difficult to predict bitcoin's price.

In my opinion it's too early for Bitcoin to reach 100.000$ in only 2 or 3 years from now. Very few people would be motivated to buy Bitcoin at that price.
As for the price of 1 Million $ for Bitcoin, the chances for this to happen arw even lower, unless the power of $ will be much lower in 2037 than it is now.

I guess their assumptions are just to form an opinion. If bitcoin reaches $ 100,000 it is very good for those who have a lot of bitcoin, then who will buy bitcoin? only people who have a lot of money can buy bitcoins.

Yes, Its all about scarcity.
Go book a Hotel or Plane when only a few seats remain and you can see price goes up very quick. When its almost empty you can negotiate price because you will have lots of choices.

that sounds like a great news for altcoins. I don't care if it reaches $1 million by 2037 and to be honest nobody can predict that except some people who're in the business of knowing. However, this kind of news help the market move in right direction. I'll take them as they come.

His prediction for bitcoin runs to $1,000,000 is more believable than John McAfee's. And regards to his prediction for year 2020 and 2021, it's also possible 3-4 years from now. While comparing to Tim Drapers prediction on 2022 which is equals to $250,000 it seems that they are following a pattern.

I would believe to those people who has been bullish to bitcoin instead of believing those bearish.
