To me it is very risky in doubled your risk capital on just a trade base on news. I try to used this method when I was trading binary options with 24option and I loss a lot.

This type of gambling is just like playing in casinos where if the news what you are expecting dont appear then what ever you have taken position according to that news will give you loss. Same thing also happens in sports betting also and that goes like 50 50 % chances as if the news of the main player not playing comes and if he is really not playing then what ever the position took will give your profit, but some time what happens that even if the star player is not playing others perform very well and the result goes opposite.
So this type of gambling is luck based
