wnfakind,

Many thanks for posting the YouTube video. You proved me wrong, assuming the guy in the video is right. I didn't know that there is more to it than simply compare the supply of the coins. This makes my spreadsheet practically worthless and i will take it from the market. Still, the value of the Bitcoin is approx. 25.000 times the value of the Ripple, i have to admit unfortunaletly not as spectacular as 2,5 mil. times.
I doubt if many crypto investors know this kind of technical details, and this could be a widely supported misconception

what can i get out of this information ! Nothing actually . you should look for total supply of both tokens and you will know why . just because you can get a bag of ripple doesn't mean you can make more profits .

Hello fellow forum members,

Did you know that one Bitcoin is worth as much as 2,5 million Ripple? For me this was a huge eyeopener.
I am a Dutch student who has developed a spreadsheet to judge the prices of cryptocurrencies. The prices of 34 popular coins, with mainly a currency purpose, are compared with the value of reference coins as the Bitcoin and Ripple, taking into account the quantity of the coins. Also other important information as transactiondata, if available, and reviews are included.
If you’re interested just send an E-mail to this adres [email protected] with just "request information" and you will receive a Wordfile with more information and a part of the spreadsheet. I ask a small fee of 0.001 BTC to receive the complete spreadsheet, an Excel 2007 file.

It looks like you are here selling stuff rather than seeking answers. In case that you don't know, there is a website called coinmarketcap and they offer everything you have and don't have for free.

All reactions above

I am talking about the relative value. The supply of the Bitcoin is aprox.16 million coins and the Ripple 18 billion coins. If you take into account the quantity in the calculations you will find out my calculations are correct.

Wouldn't bitcoin be centralized the same way too, seeing how the majority of them are held by a small percentage of people.. just like all crypto? Satoshi dream is not what he expected.

Maybe I do not understand something, but how can it be if the price Ripple 70 cents and bitcoin is $ 8300? You can explain more in this example!

Not true...Bitcoin currently 8350, while Ripple 0.68
SOOOOOuuuuu
Simple math is this: 8350:0.68=12279.41176470588
Any reason why would XRP will pump? the only thing that can pump XRP's price would be a solid FUD,or fake news like the last one which is the coinbase listing FUD,a lot of people did lose a lot of money from that bullshit, that is why the community doesnt want to get involved with this coin, centralized and manipulated.

JOIN THE NEXT MEGATREND IN CRYPTO
Did you know the community knew about how shady and centralized ripple is? that is why most of the investors doesnt want to get involved with this coin? and did you know XRP has the banking structure that makes it very centralized? did you know that XRP can be manipulated by its founder? who are being backed up by the central banks?
LMAO,this is indeed correct that is why nobody cares about what the heck this coin is doing,it shouldnt be called as cryptocurrencies too, because cryptocurrencies are intended to be decentralized and XRP is clearly opposing the fact,so it shouldnt be categorized as cryptocurrency. IMO it is just another digital fiat currency which we already have like what we have in VISA and MASTERCARD.

Honestly it doesn't offer anything special as all of us can do calculations by our self and maybe it would be better to put it for free on google docs and maybe put donation address. As you document can be easily outdated due to volatility of prices.

How ? i mean you can see the price at the market that ripple price is 0.00008363 BTC thats mean 2.5m ripple is 209.075 bitcoin, i mean your spreadsheet will be useless cause the market is decide on what price some coin will be. You can say what ever you want and do as much research as you want but demand and supply will decide the price of coin or token or whatever it is.
