Of course it can go under 5000$, bitcoin is volatile and everything is possible. But the key is not to panic without reason and it's important to watch the market to see how the situation is developing.
Although at the moment we are in the period when the price is more dumping than rising that doesn't mean the situation will stay like this forever. Bitcoin will rise again and now I don't see the danger to go under 5000$.

Bitcoin's price is unpredictable, the speculation is even lower than $5k. This is the nature of cryptocurrency, it is very volatile, the range of price movement is unlimited. If I were you, I wont start selling anything specially bitcoin. It will only make your loss bigger.

See we are going through a very critical period and we cant say what will happen next moment.But if any bad news will come then it will fuel the fire and prices may go down below $5000 also.This time the prices have been down for a longer period due to negativity and price manipulations.Moreover exchanges are been hacked which is adding to dips.But beleive me btc has also shown earlier what it is capable of and this time also it will survive and boost with greater thurst.So have patience and hodl your coins for a longer period without getting panic.

So sorry you have been buying the dips since $12k but at least if you are doing it with the right ratio, you should still be fine. The thing is the possibility of bitcoin really going below $5k is still there but since you have taken it up as a strategy to keep buying the dips, I would say this time around you chill to see how the trend is going to be playing out and wait for this possibility to happen before even getting in at all.

Hopefully, you may get to see $4k to buy if you are lucky and if we do not end up seeing a huge increase in volume and value from here.

Acceptance is so hard when you bought at the peak of bitcoin and to see how much you lose for this current happening will make you feel broken but if somebody could afford to take the lose what they get for now then maybe its up for them to sell off and cut the possible loss but for believers well I think they will try to make this year pass and look what will happen if there are major bull run coming on this coming quarter 4 of this year.

It is the best thing to do when many people are panicking about the current price drop, I also waiting for cheaper price than what we have at the moment to buy more. Even your question can not be answered with surety because only market sentiments can tell the price is heading. It might go below $5K or it might not. I don't think so. The value of bitcoin nowadays is continue fall. Because of this, many negative rumors and speculation about the price of bitcoin. But if you see the volume of bitcoin in the market cap, it is still stable. Meaning possible the value of bitcoin in a few months or weeks will recover and rise again.

It might even go below $2000 if all are going to be pulling thier funds now so expect the worse. You might wanna just buy when they all are pumping coins.
I have withdraw all my money even from the tokens I have kept for years, even spend the WAVES token I have now. I don't think I'm gonna buy again but will stick to ETH soon when the whales are going to be pumping up to $600. $600 might be the best price to buy back ETH. For now just keep your money or spend it to buy something else.

I don't know what will happen or where the bottom is going to be but I can tell you that we are reaching that point where people finally give up hope for bitcoin and stop doing anything. and just like 2014 where price reached the absolute bottom and (some) people had given up on bitcoin that is when the accumulation begins and then in a couple of months that rally begins.

why do you think the volume has dropped this much? that shows that everyone is currently confused about the drop that they weren't expecting. you keep seeing random trolls talk about low prices like $3k, $1k,... even lower but that is only kids trolling on the internet. the market is talking better than a thousand words.

Most I read here is that yes, the price will drop down to $5000. IMO the $6000 price now is strong and think it will not drop further. If it does, maybe it'll come back up Best to just buy the lowest price before buying more and wait to reach another ATH maybe this year end or next year.

To be honest, I don't see any reason for the price to go below $5K but when it comes to the crypto industry, you can't predict anything because there is always a chance for the price to boom or fall due to the infinite number of reasons. However, if your purchasing for $12K then you must have some research to back your investment decision, I would recommend you to stick with your research and make decisions based on it.

What is taking place with the market is completely different from the reality expected. Price drop is acceptable, but to such a low from a value above $15000 makes it something weird. In the past once after price drop it used to recover, now that is not happening. This makes the market go worsen than ever.

I know what you feel for buying those dips at high prices but as long you don't sell those bitcoin you got still you have some bitcoin. The price seems to be lower than the dip that we are discussing before and we don't have an accurate time when it will recover to that dipping price you bought.

It is hard to predict on what will happen in bitcoin price, there's many people are saying that it will down in $5000 and some of them are saying it will rising before the end of the year. For me everything is possible especially I know that the price of bitcoin is too volatile, who knows. Maybe it will happen but I believe the recovery are coming and it will rise again.

The probability for the market to dump is very high, because of the current trend. Just keep on buying the dip, don't just give up this chance of having more coins at a discounted price. maybe it will happen if something bad news is happen in bitcoin, like the scam exhcanger hacking is the most popular news that makes bitcoin price is down, and i thnk that it will not happen in this time because right now bitcoin price is going up slowly and we hope it will happen until the end of the year and reach the $10000 again

If bitcoin can go to 20000 USD then why it can not go below than 5000USD what i mean is bitcoin and alt currencies or should i say cryptocurrencies are volatile in nature so it is not surprising if it will go below to 5000 USD or more than 20000USD
If these coins are regulated then maybe it is difficult to say the otherwise
