Chainlink is focusing to provide an oracle that can be used by the defi projects and there are lots of defi projects are using chainlink's product too while litecoin is not even focusing on it.
It aims to be the silver version of bitcoin dude, You can find what main aim of litecoin based on its whitepaper.
I guess both were different and not comparable.

For you to understand it easier, take this logic.
Litecoin = plain as cash
Chainlink = just like Ethereum that can built another project. It has a smart contract for which other projects were made of.

Its really simple to make a difference. So the ChainLink basicly for dApps Development Industry while litecoin is for any industry which needed payment processor on it.

Yeah pretty much this one, Litecoin is a small brother to Bitcoin, so definitely functions the same. So it's been used for many real life usage, like gambling for example. You can used Litecoin to deposit to some gambling platform. Chainlink is a would be competitor of Ethereum, "decentralised" network for smart contract used.

Hello everyone, just trying to understand what is the difference between those 2. They are both used for industries and tracking.

One is minable the other not.

But I don't really understand in terms of strategy what is the difference. What kind of industries would be more interested in one or the other. What real purpose they have ?

Thanks for you help in understanding
