may be a stupid noob question about minin ethereum, but i was wondering why, according to Etherscan.io the average difficulty to solve a block at time of writing is 2,445.94 TH.
But if I take a look to mine rig, that's connected to Ethermine ppol, the difficulty is capped at 4.000MH and gets stuck at that level.

MAy be someone could explain me what's the reason.
Thanks
This is how pool mining works. You submit a share which is a much lower difficulty than the actual difficulty to find a block.
They do this to prove that you are actually mining and to find out how much to pay you when the pool actually finds a block.
If you were solo-mining then your difficulty would equal the actual ETH difficulty but would take a very long time to find a block, hence its only for large mining farms.
Ah, wow. got it, thanks!
