The tech is good but still everything depends on Jared Tate. Could be a 1 bil cap in a few years, who knows.

I also think so...

I really enjoy reading this threads. Even my own "predictions". My crystal ball is now under maintnance as it proved to miss calculate a lot. So, i have two questions.
- Are we going to see every coin ( at least the ones on top 20 or 30 on major exchanges) hit all time highs again, or on the next rally the market will be selective and start to leave some coins behind?
- For DGB the DEV placed it a target of 1000/1 against BTC. Is this the target? or people are starting to feel it differently?

I have just collected more digibyte when the price was 1000 satoshi on this week. In the future, there are much news supporting digibyte and whales will benefit these new and make a new bump in the price. I believe that digibyte will surpass 3000 satoshi in the next month.

So i was reading the thread and as a lot of other threads on other coins, including bitcoin speculation, it was very amusing to see the discussion on the "ifs" of 70 sats. Now its a thousand something and a ATH above 2000. Jokes aside what we need to be speculating on is...DOes this project bring anything new? will it get broad usage? or is this another pump and dump coin that will eventually fade away in the hundreds (soon to be thousands) of coins and tokens out there?
Im holding so i really hope it stands.

I read an article last week on some kind of mass manipulation of this coin on the exchange markets.
I have the link to that article bookmarked, now just have to find it. Undecided
Once I find it I will post it on here.
Cause I was going to buy some of these since they can be mined by cpu and not gpu only needed to do it.
But since hearing about this rather disturbing news about it I reconsidered in doing so. Embarrassed
Yep! Friend of my wife's brother told, that he was told by a strange homeless man in subway that dgb is a scam! Surely I trust him, dont buy it, or if you have it sell right now!  Grin

0.00000150 btc Maximum, will never be

yeah i have sooo many to burn with the fire of their "never" words. DGB has potential, atleast it is not a pump coin and a real development and community.

This is pretty funny to read now.

DGB at 1,000 satoshi is almost impossible. It can't even cross 200 satoshi during the last huge pump with many good news. Coin supply for this coin is too much and it would take lots of btc to pump this. I prefer to look other game coin like BCY. Once the game is released, its value will go above 0.001 and beyond.

I hope you didn't lose your pants today.

Only 100 sat is possible, it is 3 times more than now. China moves the coin to new heights, only mining gradually pushes price down. We must think seriously about reducing reward for block, holders suffer from large number of coins.

They changed the date of release of the new core protocol. (And the date of DGB b-day???)

"The latest version of the DigiByte core protocol is under development and we are tentatively planning a May 2017 release after DigiByte's 3rd birthday."

So I don't know what is going on.

I asked the team in comment on FB, but they didn't answer  Undecided

EDIT:
Well, I've found sth:

"Note: We had originally anticipated a beta release by the third anniversary but do to complications with our multi-algo implementation we were not able to get a fully stable version developed. We would like to invite the community to participate in the 4.1.3 development and release over the next few months. We also have recently put the majority of our core development resources into the new DiguSign platform and are actively looking for other developers to assist with 4.1.3 testing."

DIGIBYTE V 4.13.0
The latest version of the DigiByte core protocol is under development and we are planning a January 2017 release date for DigiByte's 3rd birthday.

36 satoshi seems like a good speculative investment for a project that is still undergoing active development.
I'm holding some and hoping the new release or one of the projects at
http://www.digibytegaminghub.com/
takes off and causes a price increase. Even a bump to 100 satoshi would be a 3x return at this point.

Bought some at 54, put my sell orders to +70 sat.

What do you think, is it possible to see +400 sat?

for a short period of time is difficult to touch that price 400 sat, and I have never seen the DGB price touched 400 sat, 70-100 sat is sensible prices for now
well - seems You poorly viewed...last year on poloniex on dgb there was price 998 sat on 15th october with day volume 790btc.. on this year I predict 150-200sat price easy on dgb if there will be some good news.. actually there will be..with minecraft.. Wink

+400 sat? you must be kidding, i think to reach in +100 sat is really hard. but if the block of 80 is ruin, i think digibyte will go for up to +100 sat like other altcoin. yes its need some time to reach +100 sat, but it could be happen in future  Grin

btw, you buy in 54 is a good buy because now the rate is somewhere in 56-57 sat, so better not to sold right now and waiting for a while to see the rate is up.

finally there is some movement. the question is at which price the sell?
has anybody an idea? i need some cash thats why i need some BTC from selling my DGB.

Well wouldn't that depend on what price entry point you got in? if you bought in at 50 sats then selling now at around 60 sats could be good or you can wait for it to go up even more but as I said once it gets to around 70-80 sats it gets dumped so you will have to decide on when you want to take some profit. It could go higher this time but that's the gamble of crypto currencies.

i bought @54sats. the question really is will be DBG be pumped like other coins on polo. then the price will go over 100sats. otherwise i have to sell @around 70sats. thats right.

It happened before there's a big possibility it can happen again, you need to be calm and wait until the right time comes.

Well for me I'm just waiting for DGB to go above 100 sats and then I'm out but I'm not even sure we'll see 100 sats because every time it looks like getting anywhere near there it is then dumped. 70-80 sats seems to be the best it can do in the past couple of months.

After these other Alts finish their runs I think DGB will have its boom.

Just curious what you base this on.

Do you believe it will have its round of whale manipulation or do you think that there is undervalued innovation within Digibyte?

I've made triple/quadruple with dgb, it's the most legit profit making altcoin. Usually, I buy in at 40-49 satosh and sell at 150-199, I've seen it go up to 250(?).

At Polo, all time high is nearly 1000 sat

And that brings me to a question I've been wanting to ask: How do you know when the trade volume of a coin is manipulated? Is it when the price does not change, yet there is a high trade volume?

Probably yes, you can see when the buy and sell orders changed.

Ex: 0.001745678   after 1 second  0.001745679
