I think the buyer would of lost, since paypal doesnt cover digital stuff if he tried to get some sort of dispute started.

I know this from experience.

They're a private corporation and can make their own rules. Often their rules make absolutely no sense, and they don't have the manpower to enforce their rules in every situation.

yeah is very easy to do a chargeback on a digital item, Still the buyer will win if he beats you.

Congrats on that $9.99 lol.

Future note to every buyer with paypal and digital goods does not mix = no refund.

i second this, that same buyer could have said they didn't get the key and i'd be out my precious 9.99.. also pretty sure ebay would have still billed me for the sale.

So this isn't really crypto related but figured i would post about me slapping ebay in the face while selling digital goods.
when titanfall was giving out beta keys, they sent me 3 keys, i sold one for 9.99 usd.
at the time they said "zero fees".

recently they charged me $1 and didnt really say why but that it was owed.
once it hit my paypal account i disputed the charge with paypal and ebay gave back the $1.

granted its a small win, but with all the bs ebay does with people selling digital goods i feel like a million bucks!
also how do they figure they can charge me when they clearly say "Zero Fees"
only thing i can figure is they have some hidden 10% fee on selling, i find that pretty excessive!
