A government will hardly make a partnership with something from the private sector. They would rather create their own system.
It's more suitable in the private sector like supply chain, etc... BTW, what PCW have used as a programme, do you have any link ?

The blockchain journey with Auxledger
Blockchain innovation can drastically reduce cost, particularly in the densely populated areas, which customarily fall behind in the selection of advancements, as its bureaucratic culture can require a great deal of time and persistence to get the change going.
Amid the previous year, numerous legislatures reported their blockchain programs, trusting the lower cost of implementation of blockchain innovation for their frameworks makes them more enthusiastic. Besides, as blockchains are as of now a worldwide standard themselves, they as of now give a testing domain, and later would make it less demanding to concede to models between various government foundations, empowering inter-operability.

Any taxpayer driven nation that requires a registry can profit from blockchain innovation, for example, birth registry, auto registry, land registry and so on., and also universal registries, for example, passport registry or visa registry. Nations like Sweden, South Korea, USA, UK, Japan have just propelled this sort of program.
