Digitex may be a pending scam, as insiders try to buy time to unload every token they own at the highest price possible.

Just look at the shenanigans that went on with the spikes in DGTX token volumes prior to and during their April 26th exchange delay announcement:

https://youtu.be/4H8FW3r24pA

I'm also surprised that no one has focused more on the official response from Spotware on their Medium page:

https://medium.com/@spotware/why-digitex-failed-spotware-reveals-62461fd580b5

To me it seems that Digitex has a very large horde of blind followers and a CEO that reeks more of snake oil salesman than trader or crypto executive.

It's hard to conclude that Digitex is scam. Despite of the controversy, it's still too early to think of it as scam since there is still quite a good volume of it.
One advice, if you're not comfortable with the coin, then just look for another coin to invest.
Thete are lots of different coins in the market and you can choose at your own risk.

The product launch that was being delayed caused the dumping I don't think dgtx is a scam,  despite the dumping it's still trading above ico scam, fudders are just out there to cause panic and they are secretly buying

Always follow the devs. The team has shown a good potential and infact listing in some good exchange is a question mark for now.Although DGTX has only been in existence for 15 months but I don't see people are much interested in the launch of Digitex futures and want to invest in it.Moreover the rewards are being so irregularly and massively distributed it is a great concern for investors.

Yes, I am very grateful for what you informed me. I am increasingly convinced that if this project is not good, there are very many irregularities in this project. even since the beginning of the negative news continued to approach this project.

Digitex is a scam, The team itself outsourcing for the development of the product and the CEO never try the product until the recent interview.  Roll Eyes

I haven't follow this ICO but it seems all signs have been in the place so I don't know if people are still gullible to invest on it.

The OP gave us warnings already, did the community head or fall for the trap? And now a lot has been telling that it's indeed a scam so for those who didn't believed the OP or at least DYOR then sorry for your lost.

The main issue with Digitex is that you cannot sell your tokens. Digitex is not an exchange and if you read the whitepaper you will learn that they have no intention of going to an exchange with their tokens.
There is a good YouTube video about this issue.
Digitex is like a casino, they want you to spend and loose your Digitex tokens while trading on their platform. But in the rare case you make profit, you are paid in Digitex tokens, but unlike in a casino there is no place for cashing out.
This is the real scam behind Digitex.

Congratulations for the most stupid post ever Tekunda.

Do you really think that the whale story is true?? Think about it again.
They have realized that 1 cent per token was much too low and that you could have get a much better price.
Dutch auction is the best way for them to get the highest possible price, someone probably told them how stupid they were, now they want revenge.
Laggards sheeps will now probably pay 25 times the original price.
I'm definitely not IN even if the price skyrockets, they are dishonest and are lying to people.
There are plenty of good ICOs out there.

i am 100% agree to your point! i did not buy their story about the buy back from the whales, only naive investors will believe them!

I support your opinion, I also did not invest in this project. Too much negative information around this project. Most likely nothing good will come of it, but time will show who was right.

i think you must read op post, and last comment
post in month january, so i think is clear scam
but where announcement thread DIGITEX, project without announcement thread , bad announcement thread, recomended don't follow

the Digitex token is illiquid. Do they have their own blochain or on ERC20?

I will not call it a scam as yet, but 2 suspicious things that i have noted are:
Massive signup bonus/ Free coins.
Secondly, 30% referral comission to bring investors, i think this is not fair to investors, more likely they want to attract big promoters/ comission junkies to sell their ico quickly and looks like they will sell quickly.

Hey guys,

The Digitex ICO starts in about 2 hours and i just came across this:

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@zeroshiki/beware-of-digitex-futures-ico-scam

Just wanted to bring this to your attention, as always DYOR, but i‘m staying away of it.
Can't exactly say it's a scam ICO but what I have seen is that most of the ICOs that offer ridicules bonuses for referring others by forcing them to refer would end up in a scam or the development team might get out eventually listing interest in the project. Though there are many exceptions but most of them will end up like this.
