Any reputable member that have tried this website and successfully received their payment should post proof here, i am just been curious.

This is my findings about the website, the btc selling/exchange rates is +20% of the actual market price and users also pay 5 euro as a service fees, these factors can discourage users and make them to try the alternative.

Maybe someone else has a tip what we could improve or change?  Smiley
We are very grateful for any feedback!
Reduce your fees and make the btc price the same as the current market.

Thank you for your honest feedback and good idea, we will send buyers a link in this forum post!!

Our prices are usually not more expensive than the market prices.
In which market place have you found the prices?
Then we can add the market to our algorithm Smiley

If I understand you correctly, are there scammers trying to buy bitcoins with fake PayPal accounts?

Is this really news to you?

Real paypal accounts that were hacked or have stolen funds in them.

As we are new to the business, this is news for us. Thank you for pointing this out to us!
We are already working with an external partner to fix this problem.

There's a reason it's very difficult to trade paypal for Bitcoin.

If you don't have some secret trick nobody else has figured out yet that protects you from getting scammed, you're gonna get scammed over and over.

You'll be paid with stolen funds from hacked accounts.  When paypal figures it out, they'll just return the funds to the victim.

It seems that there are a lot of bugs in your site that make it unreliable.
I tried to buy 1BTC and the site gave me the price in euros and then he recalculated again in dollars but at $ 10,800, I don't know if this is the price with the fees but the price difference is huge.

Generally, you are not a professional because you have used a template and tried to modify it, even some pages have not changed.

About us (https://directbit.org/index.php)  Contact us (Whoops, our bad...) Shipping (Whoops, our bad... 404 error)
You have no definition of terms of service, company, a disclaimer, ...etc.

Briefly: OLD SCHOOL SCAMMER

Our website is mainly designed for German customers and therefore prices are calculated in Euros.
The legal contents are not yet fully translated, but already fully available in German, including DSGVO! (eng.:General Data Protection Regulation GDPR).
-> So no we are not "old school scammers".

But thank you very much for pointing out the broken links! These were preset in the theme.
I just changed the links and translated our terms of service and disclaimer.

Thanks for your feedback!

Safer for the buyer than for the seller, that's for sure. But the same exists for any kind of payment that allows for chargebacks. It's the main reason bitcoin sellers charge a really high premium for Paypal buys, and also since the chargebacks can happen months down the line.

Paypal used to ban Bitcoin related txs, I also recall but I doubt that's the case now anymore. Plenty of PP options on P2P platforms.

Just checked your rates. About 3% better than the best rate right now on Localbitcoins.

Curious how you settle the bitcoin though. Not your own supply surely?

Our algorithm searches about 10 different markets for the best prices. We give this price directly to our customers and charge only a fixed service fee.
That's why we can offer such good prices.

And no we do not sell our own Bitcoin stock Cheesy

It looks like you accept Paypal. How safe is that? IIRC Paypal does not allow anything related to cryptocurrency transactions, buying Bitcoin included.

We have asked PayPal Germany if it is ok for them that we operate a Bitcoin platform and offer PayPal as a payment method.
Their answer surprised us too:
"Bitcoins are not excluded goods according to our terms of use and terms of service."

Then we checked the german PayPal conditions*, and indeed, bitcoins are not banned goods!
Only if you pay with giropay it is not allowed (because of the giropay conditions).
Since we do not offer giropay this should not be a problem.

We charge a small transaction fee for every purchase - that's how we finance ourselves.
The coupon code will cancel this fee for normal shipping (within one hour).

Haha, thanks for clearing that up (and editing the OP). "Shipping fee" made me think of buying a physical product.

Since I'm a professional web developer and my brother a studied mathematics teacher,
we've teamed up and created directBit so everyone can easily buy bitcoins.

Now we need your help:

Please test our website and tell us what you think about it and if you like it.
For any feedback, we are very grateful!
