I'd prefer to pay in btc hence I am not ruling you out completely. Thanks for the quote though.
You bet. Another option you'd have would be to exchange some BTC for USD and then go through PPOBox. That might be your most economical option.

Can you give me a quick quote for a box of 15" x 16" x 17". With a weight of about 25.5 lbs? - Shipped from US to India.

Been searching all night and basically I need a cheaper rate than Borderlinx & ShipTo. At worst it has to be better than PPobox rates.
It looks like that would cost about $225 USD. PM me if you're interested and we can take it from there.

$225 is actually costlier than PPObox actually.

I'll shop around and see if I can find something better. But I'll keep you in mind and get back to you if I choose to move with you.

Changing to Melbourne Airport (from Toronto Pearson) gives the same pricing, except with two day delivery instead of 3. Are you using normal NetParcel or NetParcel via PayPal? The PayPal route gives better shipping rates.
I had not realized that - thanks for the info! I had been using the standard NetParcel site as it supports the source country being outside of Canada, while the PayPal NetParcel limits source countries.

As for the difference in pricing for Australia shipping: I suspect we used different destinations when estimating the pricing - I think I used Melbourne Airport as the destination for my estimates.

Do you have access to volume discounts that require a minimum monthly shipment count? I'm asking because NetParcel in conjunction with PayPal offers the lowest rates you can get without committing to a certain shipment count and I was wondering if your pricing would be cheaper than that. They don't offer Canada Post though so I guess you'd have an advantage there.

Pricing seems decent with Canada Post I suppose. For your Toronto-Seattle example, netParcel charges $23.82 CAD but it's 8 day transit with UPS. Canada Post at $35.70 for 4 day transit seems pretty decent and beats small business pricing as well as faster netParcel options.

edit: You should really negotiate your Australia shipping contract if you ship there occasionally as UPS can go as low as $114.57 CAD for 3 day delivery.
NetParcel is actually the provider I use to provide these discounts, so shipping isn't through Canada Post. I can see how the original post looks a little misleading (listing the Canada Post/USPS price, and then your price) - I didn't intend for that. I used Canada Post/USPS as a baseline since they're often the cheapest shipping option, and then compared their services to similar services offered by other shipping companies (so there wouldn't be price comparisons of Canada Post's 3 week delivery vs. 4 day delivery with other providers).

Hi,

I have a few questions regarding your service since I am interested in it.

Which countries available? Can it be worldwide shipping to any country which on DHL list or you have limited countries?
If UPS/DHL/Fedex/Purolator ships between the origin and destination countries, I can offer this service - so yes, if DHL ships to a specific country, I can provide an estimate for delivery to that country.

Who is official payer for the shipping: you or me? If there will be a problem with parcel, will I contact with shipping company direct or through you?
I'm the one paying for the shipping cost (since these shipping companies don't accept bitcoin), but if there are any issues with the parcel the shipper (you) will be responsible for contacting the shipping company directly because your name will be listed as the sender of the parcel.

Do you accept escrow or full prepayment only?

Thank you! Smiley

Yes, I welcome escrow through trusted escrow providers. If you choose to not use escrow, I'd ask that the full amount be sent to me upfront.

Discount parcel shipping service

I have access to volume shipping discounts with mainstream shipping companies, so I've decided to share the discounts here and offer shipping labels for bitcoin.

Sample Prices
Here are some sample prices for a 30 inch x 8 inch x 8 inch parcel weighing 10 lbs:

SourceDestinationUSPS Cost (USD)Your Cost (USD)

Parcel Carriers
Packages will be shipped through mainstream providers such as UPS, Purolator, Fedex or DHL and will include tracking numbers.

Insurance and Damage Claims
I will not be involved in any insurance or damage claims with the shipping company if the parcel goes missing or is damaged in transit. Those discussions will happen between the shipping label purchaser and the shipping company.

Shipping Estimates
If you're interested in an estimate, either send me a PM or post here with the following info:
  • Source country and post code
  • Destination country and post code
  • Package dimensions
  • Package weight
I'll reply with the cheapest rate I'm able to find, which shipping company it's with, and the delivery timeframe.
