Food is an vital part of our lives. Due to its importance there is tremendous growth in processing of food and its transportation services and is still improving. To mention specifically, the food industry consist of a complex network of practices which consist of supply, consumption, and catering of food products and services all over the world. Processed food products and partially prepared ‘instant’ food packets are also main part of the food industry.
In this essential for all, food industry, Demand and Supply factors of Food Industry matters a lot. For example, a number of factors enhance the demand in the global food industry such as the population levels, wealth dispersal, health awareness, for example today people are talking about and prefer organic food and types of different lifestyles. The food supply factors include the quality of the supply chain(now a days supply chain is also started using blockchain technology), level of competition in the industry and the composition of the target consumers and most important is large network of participating merchants which are important to have huge customer database.
