Hello everyone. I'm happy joining this community of cryptocurrency enthusiasts. First of all, I’d like to say I’m not an island and I’m here to learn (which makes me open to corrections), share my little experience and engage in the activities of this great forum.
I've been been a fan of the cryptocurrency world for a while now and I'm eager to expand my knowledge and connect with people of more experience.
I came across bitcoin a few years ago on an article I stumbled upon which led to my cryptocurrency journey. First, I was skeptical about it and had trouble understanding how it works, but as I did my personal research for more insight, I discovered the so many opportunities it has to offer. Since then, I’ve involved myself in different cryptocurrencies. It has also not been so smooth for me which is why I’m excited to be part of this community where I can connect with people and share ideas and experiences that can expand my scope in the world of cryptocurrency.
I’m excited to take part in the discussions, experiences and also gain more knowledge which y’all have in store for me.
Thanks so much for having me here and I’m still always open to corrections.

Yours sincerely,
Framelover.

You are welcome! Crypto is a great alternative to main fiat currencies. I think that blockchain mechanism is the new step in digital banking algorithms. The main problem is whether banks will adopt the technology for digital fiats or already existing cryptocurrencies will become stable transaction instrument.

If I will restructure your topic, it should be something like this. "Discovering the World of Bitcoin Forum/Community". Learning is a constant thing in which young and old engaged into it to develop their brain and have knowledge to participate in any issue come across their way. This is a community where you can ask any questions about bitcoin and other related Cryptocurrencies in the ecosystem.

Since you said, you here to learn bitcoin and other digital currencies, that is good move, but you are the best person to teach yourself. That is you have to read more on other people post and ask questions whenever you are confused or not clear with.

Learning about bitcoin comes with many opportunities to you as a person and to your journey in cryptocurrency and the financial economy system at large, it help to know how to manage resources, control financial loopholes serving a means of extorting on our money, guide our financial asset in a secured and proper means, maintain a security measures in our finances, and help us identify the role of being decentralized when handling our money or other forms of financial assets we have, such could all be achieved here on the bitcoin community for those active and interested in learning.

Not your keys, not your coins!
I'm happy joining this community of cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
Welcome.

Despite of this thread looks like a merit fishing one, I buy benefit of the doubt to give you some opinion.

It is not a cryptocurrency forum because cryptocurrency is a very wide term. It is a Bitcoin forum.

Welcome to the new Bitcoin forum!.

There are boards for alternative cryptocurrencies but the main use of this forum is for Bitcoin, not altcoins.

@OP you did the right move of learning about cryptocurrency first but you should focus on major cryptocurrencies so that you won't waste your time and money.  Avoid engaging with cryptocurrency projects that aim only to milk the investors of their money.  Such cryptocurrencies are called shitcoins.  They are created for the obvious reason of getting money out of thin air and rely on hypes and misinformation.  They even claim to be better than the major currencies when in fact they are just copy.

If you may, you can focus your attention on Bitcoin since it is the dominant cryptocurrency.  Although the profit isn't as huge as the hyped meme coin and shitcoins, you are assured of its established liquidity and community.

I like your general perception about Bitcoin stating that at first, you were sceptical about the approach to adopting Bitcoin, which is normal for anyone to hear about a power technology such as Bitcoin.

Your scepticism has led you into the quest and search for more knowledge and I must say that choosing this forum is the best decision for you at this point, the best and only advice I can give to any newbies like myself is to co centrate more on learning and acquiring Bitcoin at this point and even though you want to risk on other altcoins, it shouldn't be at the early stage of cryptocurrency journey.
