Staking is when cryptocurrency owners lock up their assets to support the blockchain network and receive rewards.$WATER By participating in the security and decentralization of the network, they receive interest or new tokens. Staking is used for cryptocurrencies with the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) algorithm, such as Ethereum.

Do you have any plans for silent mining at home? I only learned about Jasmine Miner
I quit mining when ETH switched to PoS, it stopped being profitable. Now I do staking where I don’t need any additional equipment and it’s not time consuming at all (you don’t need to worry about video cards, bills etc)
It’s more risky but I choose new projects which offer 150 APR%, for example now I stake with them https://waterfall.network/individuals#statistics_block
I think that this is also a very risky game and if in mining when the price of the coin decreases you are left with unprofitable ASICs, then in staking you are left with coins whose price has fallen. And I don’t want to stake Ethereum at such a low percentage of income.

It may be a coincidence that before the start of ASIC sales the price of the coin is suspiciously growing up, although we are not in a bull market. When such coincidences happen very often, it is very difficult to believe that this is a coincidence.

You are  perfect right!

MinerBoxes from PCPraha.cz or minerboxes.com can make the miner very silent. Or you can just buy miners like AL0 or KS0 for home mining (iceriver machines).
Of course, with these ASICs there will be quiet mining, but this does not mean that it will be profitable. You will give 1000 dollars for an ASIC, and then for 3 years you will receive 1 dollar per day Smiley If we take average profit values.

AL1 PRO is profitable rn, you just have to watch the market and buy asap. Or the hosting option ofc with low electricity prices
I'm not crazy to pay $33,000 for this asic Smiley
Better then to look at the new A11 asic from DragonBall Miner, which is almost 3 times cheaper and its profit is almost the same.
But these asics are mining shitcoins, and the profit will drop every day.

Yes it will drop, like gpus and everything else.

The one thing that will happen is these coins will pump like hell during the bull market because the asic developers have mined a heap before release.  Radiant is a classic example, asics have been on the network for months
but they have only just been released to the public

I've been mining Radiant on GPUs for a while, now I need to see how many coins I have. If the story with the Kaspa coin repeats itself, we may see a price of 1 cent on this coin.
But it will depend on the demand for new ASICs.
i mean theoretically the same should apply to alephium. In all honesty it all depends on whether bitmain decides to pump it. the other companies are relatively small players, at least for a pump all the way to 1c . For comparison, Bitmain's alephium pump(if there even was one) when their miner was announced was disappointing for bitmain standards. from 1.3 to 2 and now back to 1.6. Maybe they don't have that much faith in the coin

Talking abour Radiant there is new machine from Iceriver for 400 bucks that oyu can mine radiant with. The thing is you have to catch early batch to gain the profit Wink trustme it is profitable you just have to know the way lol

You sound like you have so much experience on this....

Segmining (used to be on this forum)
Screwed me over for $20,000

Gigawatt screwed me over for $10,000

There were miners in the past which were quiet, not silent.

I had one of them and it was the Antminer C1. It was basically an Antminer S3 but it was water cooled. And if you modded it properly you could have it in your room and you could even sleep in the room, it was that quiet. However it wasn't efficient because there were more fans and it was also very bulky and not good if you wanted to have a few of them.

With ETH mining you basically used regular GPUs and if you had an open air rig, you could of had a very quiet setup, as long as you had them far away from one another so they wouldn't overheat. So it is possible but you just cannot have too many of them.

There is also the issue with heat. The more miners the more heat it will generate, so unless its winter, you would need to use an AC to remove that heat.
I used to use raisers with 50 centimetre cables, but even with a metre cable it was impossible to place the video cards far away and the last ones in the row got more heat anyway.  And if there are 50-60 video cards in open cases and more in the room, it's impossible to deal with the noise.
All I did was to keep the noise from being heard from outside the house, garage, etc.

Well, in my country the advantage is that you can get a mining company and make the most of the profits, and the bad thing is that you are going to need a lot of electrical energy, so you must have a good site prepared with high energy efficiency and the electricity sheet will help you. it will be expensive obviously
Miners do not use the electrical passport in locations that are not suitable for mining. This applies to houses, flats, garages, warehouses, sheds and similar premises. You cannot assess the condition of the wiring because it is hidden under the finish of the room, and the wiring may be of poor quality and could cause a fire if loaded.
If you are going to mine, you need to replace all the wiring and preferably design a power reserve, then install fire and short circuit protection, install video surveillance and a security system if necessary, and only then go mining. Otherwise, you run the risk of seeing coals and ashes at the location.

Right now the most silent Asic miners for homes are KS0 pro and ultra, they take 100watts from wall and they give 200GH to 400GH on mining Kaspa coin, they make up to $0.80 to $2 per day depending on the model you getting.

Rather than home mining, if you have to pay for electricity iw ould choose mining hosting like oneminers.com which can provide better electricity prices and higher profitability. Plus warranty and full service of the machine, you just control it via their app, which is way easier than mining at home Cheesy

Mining is noisy, ASICs are louder. If noise is a concern you must compromise elsewhere which will decrease any profit.

Do you have any plans for silent mining at home? I only learned about Jasmine Miner
This depends on a lot of things and aspects , resources and space that you have to make that.
Another thing is how much would you spend on that mining setup and if you have electricity for free or not.
I would recommend a separate room with a ventilation system to get the heat out.
A few more details what exactly you want would be helpful.

The Jasmine miners are altcoin miners NOT Bitcoin miners. This area is only for Bitcoin topics - not crapcoins.
Requesting mods to move yer post to altcoin area.
