I think if it is the true love, you should definitely do it! I had a boyfriend who came to my country to study for half a year to stay closer to me, that was really an emotional and happy relationship. we were dating for one year, but later it became impossible, because of the distance between us.
If you love someone, even if you are far away from each other, be together. Love shouldn't end because of distance. Distance doesn't define if you love someone or not. If you love someone, don't break up. BE TOGETHER. Distance should never beat love. Love conquers all. Don't forget this.
Generally speaking, I think we all know they rarely work.If I'm speaking about myself, I would have no problem staying committed.

Long Distance relationship purely base on trust because we will always be curious what our significant other is doing or who is she/he with.

If you really love that girl , so be it , flyover to her and tell her how much you love her and what is your plan with her. But prepare yourself in circumstances that the one you love might end up not loving you in return , because many situation in long distance relationship that the feeling of someone is just a fling.
