Distributed could be a sneaky way for some to bring in centralized projects into crypto world & avoid accountability. By just calling their projects "distributed", many will think or assume that they are decentralized when they are not.
I still strongly believe that centralized crypto projects should be regulated by governments. It's dangerous to run centralized crypto projects or bank-like projects in Crypto world without adequate regulations.
Those who refuse community-based regulations or self-regulations should really be regulated by the typical governments.

— Decentralized things = no centralization. Any form of centralization contradicts the name decentralization.

— Distributed things = can be either centralized or decentralized.  A central power could distribute things around but still retain the central control of that distributed things. This is not decentralization.

So, I totally prefer the name Decentralization for a decent Cryptosphere. A true decentralization is the safest and can easily be proven to be safest.
