I was wondering there are so many planets we believe have the ability to harbour life... Why can't we create a 3D printer to form simple DNA structures; and shoot it towards a planet light years away.. so that once it finally does reach a plant with the capacity to harbour life.. we land in the water, 3D print some simple DNA structures..and over time these cells mutate and form species off our DNA and hope that life evolves with our DNA on a very distant planet.. it won't be us exactly but it give us piece of mind we started life somewhere else in the universe.. and who knows maybe in a million years+ they could come seek us out!
