Interesting, they are using ECC crypto for the DNS encryption - similar to what Bitcoin uses for its addresses. Specifically, they mention Curve25519, although I'm not sure how similar the implementations are.

A new tool released by OpenDNS that encrypts the DNS traffic making it safer from manipulation and also hides it from the ISP's prying eyes.

Got my attention because here in China most of the censorship is done via DNS poisoning, that is the ISP changes the DNS response before we can receive it and thus redirects any traffic they like to wherever they like be it their own servers or a dead end most often.
