A good add up to have but people wont really care too much out of these things because an award can be given anytime with just only having that minimal criteria for those gambling sites to be chosen.
So this isnt something solid for people to look on.

If the source or the award giver is something reputable or well-known then this will really be something for that gambling site to be proud off and can really boast up that
they are one of the best gambling sites out there.

Overall, the demand itself will be varying on several characteristics that we've known.

That's an additional point for them if a casino receives an award but just like any other, I'll still think of them as the same whether they have or don't have an award.

Will still play casually on them regardless of the award they receive or even a nomination.

Some organizations and events give out awards to casinos that do well each year in a certain category. For example, askgamblers has their own awards, casinomeister has their own and there are some others.

If you're looking for a new casino to try, do you ever notice if it got any awards and would that even matter to you?

The awards matter when they are from a reputable organization. The award means that at least a single third party had reviews and scores positively on the casino.

For example, if I land on a new casino that I don't know much, seeing that it won an award, let's say from Askgamblers, it will give it some credibility.

It does matter to a certain extent, especially if the fanbase/userbase of the award-giving body is quite significant, it helps in the advertisement of the gambling platform that won the award.

Most of the time, it doesn't really mean anything if the award is given by an organization that is relatively unknown in the scene. If you are quite respected and your views and opinions matter to the gamblers, then surely your award would be flaunted by the platforms who got it. It just means that your organization's standards are akin to the gamblers who support your ratings and/or reviews, and thus potentially pulling more userbase to the side of the gambling platform that won your award.

Things i do look when i do tend to choose a gambling site.

-Reputation - which means lots of people been hanging out or playing with the site
-- You can presume out that their design is good and user interface and website cant reach out that certain state if they arent doing good.

-Perks and Bonuses
-- Having this would really be adding up some spice and interest towards the site.

In the question if casino awards does matter? For me, i dont really see it to be that much of needed.

The award does not matter in my case. But if a casino really gets an award for their activities, that's a plus point. And in other cases these issues are not so important. Because we know that the organizations that organize such awards give them awards and ratings based on how much they check and choose, these platforms mostly ask for money from gambling websites for ratings and other things. So it is easy for those who pay more to have higher ratings and get awards.

I think public reviews are more important than these kinds of things.

What matters to me is real reviews on this forum or my personal experience on various sites... Awards are not a very important thing, especially not everyone understands what this award is and what role it plays...
I think that most people prefer popular casinos regardless of the awards ...

At least to me it doesn't matter at all, for a long time I have had problems with review sites because as we know many of them accept bribes in order to give better reviews and the moment they do that there is no point to their reviews anymore, and those awards are very similar, you are relying on a centralized party to tell you that the casino is good and I'm not going to rely on the words of someone else, I prefer to do my due research and find out by myself.

Some interesting replies, thanks to everyone for chipping in  Smiley

It was pointed out in a few answers that no awards exist that would target specifically crypto casinos, which is true but I haven't even thought of that. What do you think of the idea if such awards were held here, on this forum?
The main idea would be to have them decentralised, which would work perfectly here. Yes/no?

I personally don't look at whether or not a certain casino has won an award, didn't even know such things existed, to be fair  Cheesy
Whenever I choose a gambling website there are 3 things that matter the most to me:

1. Provably fair. I like to be sure there'll be no scam.

2. Nice interface, navigation. Sometimes it can be really hard to find something on a website, that wasn't designed well, that can be very annoying!

3. Reviews. Some of the websites can buy themselves good reviews, no doubt in that, but mostly, in my experience, if there are some flaws and pitfalls - at least some reviews will tell you about that if you do your research.

As a gambler then those  kind of awards that can be seen on a casino would really be a good add up which you can say that you are really dealing with a good site
specially if the one who had given the awards is most likely popular or known when it comes on grading gambling sites online. This might not be common though
but for casinos side, having these kind of awards is really an add up into their reputation. It might not really that important for some players as making it
an indicator but this one really proves out that they are really getting some recognition.

Hi

Awards and Mentions that people care about are Honestly something which is centralized. Now the Centralized bodies do not care for the casinos that we use mainly. The Crypto casinos and all , the organizations which are indeed involved with such things might not be that that credible and there is always a side of them being paid at many places.

So I do not think I would trust this system but what I would do is honestly:
Trust the Reviews of People
Plus
How the casinos treat them

There are many things that I would consider and these things for sure does not need the casino to have award itself. (Then again am not saying its a bad thing or something but most of them are fixed and might be biased)

The good reviews of the users should be an award in itself for the casino

I have never paid attention to anything like that and never knew if such an award existed, but it feels like an award like this is necessary because then at least the casino will continue to get better in many ways. But if the award is considered insignificant for some reason, I think there is nothing wrong too when someone thinks it is not important, but for me any award that is made certainly has a positive impact and it will be fine of course.

It depends.
- If the potential user doesn't know much about the gambling industry, any awards will tend to make him think "this casino is superior."
- If the potential user knows the gambling industry, only prestigious awards will tend to make him think "this casino is superior."

FYI, the award itself is a marketing business, and to get it, you can simply pay, especially for a non-prestigious/reputable one. Some were offered in an exclusive marketing package, including publishing on the printed and electronic media. I remember when my business was offered various awards, but I've never paid any of them.

Hmm not really. I've never really noticed whether casinos have received awards, and do cryptocasinos even have any rewards for that matter? I've barely noticed them and most of the time, I'm more opted to look at the legal matters of the casino just to make sure it's legit and that It isn't illegal for me to access it in my country. Besides rather than awards, user feedback is much more important imo, since it details almost everything that the site has to offer. Casino awards can be both vague and specific at times after all, and an award isn't necessarily enough to prove that a casino is good or not.

Actually it is true. As based on my experience I usually don't see any casino awards. All I see is some loyalty membership fees and sometimes loyalty seat, no jokes. But I think this kind of idea is definitely one of a good idea because we all know that there are many people now that considering gambling in order to earn or gain positive profit or earnings, and also because of our current situation, the pandemic. This kind of rewards are also can be the thing to determine the credibility of the gambler and also to vouch it for some transactions that might happen in the future. Casino awards would also give them some benefits, discounts and I think also some privilege's.

Whenever I see the casino that I play on receive an award i'd be happy for them but other than that it doesn't mean much for me. I have no hate for the awards but imo it's not the best way to look for a casino.

on your example you use a casino review site and not a real casino .
That's because review sites are usually the ones who hands out awards and i've never seen any casino that gives out awards to their competitors. OP could mention the sites that received an award from AskGamblers or any review site but I don't think it's going to matter anyway as the main focus is about the awards having importance or not.

In general I believe most awards are not particular and not useful to the average gambler but I have to say, I trust AskGamblers awards a lot more than others. Simply because I know myself they have helped a lot of people in the past with problems (especially when getting money back from casinos online).

Mind you,,, awards does not make me trust a casino more, but it does let me know the casino has real people running it and not just customer support from random IT centers.

Who will give the awards on crypto gambling? Maybe some company on Curacao or other part of the world?
I never heard organization to give awards to crypto gambling site and even the reputable gambling site I'm playing with they are not sharing any award for years now, so this is very rare. Actually, if the gambling site received a legit awards then I believe it can attract many gamblers and the trust will be good on that gambling site.

we don't have that kind of organization yet that will give awards to which is doing an astounding job. but yes maybe curacao will do that one day. it may not matter for some but i guess it's for marketing only and building a reputation of the casino. if curacao do it to the casinos under caracao license, it will just be for them fooling each other and then hoping they could fool others.

Depend in which award giving body will come from because if those are the legit one like Askgambler then i might consider this as mattering though i have a strict taste in each gambling site i stay playing and depositing .
I will check the site for their freebies but won't deposit until i am contented with my trials and the community feedbacks.

i know its only an example but you could have use any random casino name  , or you wanted to tell us that your own casino review site has an award ? congrats if it has but its not all about awards . a casino or a review site can be good if they are fair  .
a random casino or casino review site can claim that they are award winning but if no one us here recognize them we wont still visit that because the claims can be fake

I would say that as long as these awards are credible than than they actually matter. If there as longer period of time over which a casino manages to win such an award then it is definitely a good sign. In most areas we can find awards these days. For example, most companies compete in employer of the year awards, and promoting their good work ethics. It is good to have similar awards in the gambling industry.

to some extent yeah it does matter. it adds up to their reputation and having an award tells you in a small way that, that casino good track. and no I mostly do not notice if a gambling site has an award it would appeal to me in some way if the gambling site I am trying out has one.

Consider it to be similar to movies/film awards like the Oscars. There might be a winner of "best movie of the year". Which honestly is the best movie for the judges but doesn't always translate to the masses. Best to try all the top casinos you find and compare the pros and cons and decide for yourself. Reviews do help in a lot of cases.

Doesn't matter at least in my case, if the casino that I'm playing is not giving out rewards, I have no problem with that. And if they are not scamming most gamblers and have built their reputation so it's not very important. Perhaps giving awards is good in paper, but will not add up points in my opinion regarding if you starting or have established your name in the business.

Is this award the same as "10 out of 10 ratings" or is it the "best casino of the year".

These awards would only matter if the award giving organization is known for their reputation as fair to all or unbiased. I think we are all aware that many of these organizations ask for payment from gambling platforms.

It's good if they will receive an award but for me, it's not really important as I don't look at the awards of a casino when I'm gambling.

What I like is their feedback from their gamblers, and honestly, this forum has been a lot of help for gamblers since feedback here are more reliable that one site or organization evaluating which is the best site, why? because they can be bias.
