I remember getting my Dropbox account expanded with referrals here, and I was wondering what happened to these services. Did the Dropbox team patch this sort of abuse?
No idea. Old accounts done via this kind of method are still usable, though.Yep, I can confirm that as well; my Dropbox account, which was expanded by emails like "[email protected]", still sees these referrals as valid.
But it's a shame no one's doing it anymore. I was hoping to get a backup account expanded, but I guess it should be alright.
