i think it depend on your country policy if your country consider it as important to make a transmitter license for sending and receiving bitcoin from business then you must prepare it and must use it for bitcoin transaction.

if it is your country requirement then you must need it because you have to follow the rules and regulation of your country, and if you are not going to follow the rules and regulation of the country then you will be charge for that.
yes i am agree with you that it is up to your country policy if they consider it must to make a money transmitter license to send and receive bitcoin from business then you must to make it.
to me i think in most of the countries it is not necessary to have transmitter  license to send or receive bitcoin from business, but if your country consider it as necessary then you must prepare it.

if your only touching bitcoin. then no.

that casascius guy didn't touch fiat, he didn't even have a bank account. that didn't stop fincen getting heavy with him. maybe their thoughts have been smoothed out now, it was a long time ago, but it's the type of thing someone needs to check up on before they check up on you.

Wasn't he selling physical bitcoins for fiat? I thought that was what got him into trouble.
That case was pretty regrettable.

For bitcoin you are free to start that website and can pay to the members without having any money transmitter license as you will not be appeared to the public and not your pay details. with bitcoins you will remain anonymous.

It dependz on your country's policy. For example in my country there is no need to pay taxes and fees if you have online business, I mean income and earnings from online websites, you can make online shop without fees. If you are in US than I think you need money transmitter license because laws are more strict.

Shortly, it depends on your country's policy and on type of business.

If you own the business and are sending money to another business then you would want to have a money transmitter license because you want to protect your asset and the other guys asset as well. You don't want to have any holes when you are sending money because that is how people will play you.

If you are just an individual (non-business owner) sending money to a business then you don't need a license because it isn't that serious.

no, i guess.. unless if it is fiat then you may need license due to laws and regulation of ones country.. also, unless if bitcoins are regulated in your country, then you'll have to, but if it's not, then nothing to worry.
yes it is a fact that it is only possible in such countries where bitcoin is regularize and recognize by the country, and if the government demand for that license then it is important for you to to make that license.

and i think many of country for now don't make any regulation about bitcoin and don't make any statement yet with bitcoin so i think that government will not problem for sending and receive bitcoin and you can do it with safe.

I just wanted to know if need a money transmitter license to receive and send payments paid to click websites. Im from the united states so laws here vary from each state. Im not even sure if thats money transmitting in the first place.  Huh

I think if you are using bitcoin then I think there is no need for the money transmitter license.  If both of the parties have bitcoin account then only the bitcoin address is necessary for each transaction.  If you will receive and send payments using fiat currency then most likely you will need the money transmitter.  But there is paypal so better to have an account to them.  They just ask for a quite good fee.

if you are living in such country where the state have announce to make a transmitter license for sending or receiving bitcoins from business then you really need to make it other wise you can be charge for involving in illegal activities, but i think in most of the state there is  no such kind of requirement by any state.

i think it depend on your state policy, if your state has consider bitcoin as legal and they consider transmitter license necessory for sending or receiving  bitcoin then you must need it, but i think most of the countries have not yet taken serious action about bitcoin, and people are using it freely.

Tryig to survive in this harsh world
Bitcoin is not like cheques or credit card where you need third party that you pay.
Bitcoin is made to be only you and the other party of transaction enough to make a safe and complete transaction.

Becoming legend, but I took merit to the knee :(
If you are selling for example hardware for Bitcoins, you should be safe. However, you will be liable for tax payments

I guess it all depends on the amount and where your business is operating. I would think no license for bitcoin if you are outside NY. If you are in NY you better check the bitlicense.
