I think that you just need to have microsoft visual c++ redistributable installed and then wallets work.

Just made a virtual machine to host new alt-coins on and realized I dont even know if qt wallets support XP.  Does anyone know if XP is officially (or unofficially supported)??   If unofficially supported can you please reply a link or some info.  A quick google search didn't bring up anything for it on XP.

I realize some coins have a full wizard based installer, but for the ones that don't is there a way to get them working with XP?

Thanks

Yes you can install Bitcoin Core , Bitcoin Qt  on Windows XP.

If some other coin has a wallet which is based on Bitcoin Qt it should work with Windows XP.

Regards.
