I realized I have a red dot on Electrum, no sync. That must be the reason. I tried to connect to a server, unchecked “Select server automatically” and selected one from the list, but still have a red dot. May I ask, do you have any idea why is that ?

What version of Electrum are you running? Most of the old versions are unable to connect to any available server. Also, your client should automatically choose a new server on restart.

-snip- Now I can see there is a section Recieve, so I know how to do it next time  Grin The question is can I still have BTC which I have sent as I described?  Huh Smiley K
Using the "Receive Section" is actually unnecessary to receive bitcoins, all it does is to show you an unused address and put a label on the 'history section' to the transaction that was received through that address.
As long as you've copied the correct address from your 'address section', you did nothing wrong.

Problem is, Electrum should have included the txn to your history even if it's unconfirmed, check Coinbase's transaction history and the addresses in your Electrum.

The question is can I still have BTC which I have sent as I described?
Yes. Every address on the "Addresses" tab belongs to your wallet and can receive coins at any time. If the coins have been correctly sent to one of your addresses, then they should be recoverable.

First of all, can you double check the address in your Coinbase withdrawal history or email confirmations correctly matches the address in your Electrum wallet. It could be that you have copied an incorrect address or fallen victim to malware which has resulted in you pasting an incorrect address without realizing it. Secondly, can you open Electrum and tell us if there is a green or a red circle at the bottom right, as it could be an issue with your wallet not syncing properly.

If you are willing, can you share the address here so we can check if there have been any transactions?

I have used ELectrum for the first time and it seemes I have made a silly error. I wanted to send BTC from Coinbase, so I have opened Electrum, went to Adresses and copied one of them. On coinbase, I pasted the adress and sent the coins. The coins were taken off, but after two days, there is still no deposit on the adress. Now I can see there is a section Recieve, so I know how to do it next time  Grin The question is can I still have BTC which I have sent as I described?  Huh Smiley K

Could you post your transaction ID?
