I don't see any reason to buy movies online.
Why if you can find any movie on Internet free and watch without paying.
If I want to find and watch some movie, I will just put the title of this movie in Google search box and find several sites where I can watch it for free Smiley

I love the theater experience if it is a good special effects movie. Worth every penny.

It does not appear pirating has hurt the industry much. They are still pulling in millions of dollars for each big budget release. The actors are still being paid millions to be in them. Iron Man 3 grossed 1.2 billion for movie tickets alone. Downey was paid 75 million.

I feel sorry for the films made by small studios and individuals. Pirating hurts these the most.

I go to a movie theater almost every week.

It's only 3 EUR here and I love all the ritual of going to the movies.

Apart from that I torrent hd content.

I'd prefer streaming but don't know any good sites for hd with subtitles.

To answer the OP question:

No I don't buy movies online.

If there was some sort of advantage I'd consider it.

3€ for movie theater is very cheap!
In my country it is like 8€ so I don't visit them much because of that.

This is good stream site: http://www.hdlord.com/items.php
Some videos even have subtitles in some languages.

3€ is not the regular price. I buy on groupon and livingsocial to get that price.

Thanks for the link.

I "buy" movies online all the time.

Seriously though, I haven't paid for a movie in years, no reason.

Except you know, actually supporting the films? Maybe try visiting a theatre or something once in a while. Hell, buy a DVD / bluray as a gift.

Sorry to say this but that's industry brainwashing talking.

I go to the movies because I like it, not to support some fatcats.

I feel the robbery for the movies I see in theatre, make up for the free ones I torrent.

Going to the movies has become absolutly ridic, 2 tickets + popcorn and one drink is easily $40-50. Who can afford that shit anymore?

I pay for Netflix streaming service, and Amazon Prime as well. I have a big collection from torrents, but sometimes I can't be bothered to deal with torrents (and also sometimes I don't have the immediate disk space). So in those cases, I do sometimes opt to buy a movie/TV episode on Prime.... mostly out of laziness/convenience.
