That's true. But still, if I was a whale, I'd accumulate some low-cap coin with actual value instead, this should bring better profits.

if not, then don't even try to take dubious decisions. there is still a lot out there apart from Sushi that will give you profit with all the current accumulated amounts. because basically Sushi is growing rapidly at the end of 2020 to February. When it entered in March, almost all of them did not return to the price they used to be when Sushi increased.

You still have a chance to retract the decision, trying to focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum. while you are not left behind, then later on you will reap the benefits.

in fact, in my opinion at the moment it is not convenient to do farming instead it is better to sell all the possible altcoins and buy bitcoin the gains are much greater
That's definitely not true unless your yields are 10% or so.
We're still in alt season and we will remain so until the bear, by the looks of it.

Why do you think that farming is no longer convenient? I'm serious about educating myself about it because from what I know, the hype is still around and many are still farming from these tokens/swaps.

But I tend to agree about the last suggestion that you've said. If they're no longer the same in the hype and it's not profitable for you anymore to go with sushi, buy bitcoin or if you prefer wbtc which is just also following bitcoin's price, go for what's the best for you.

Then what make you think that some low cap coin has actual value instead of sushi or others?
as I mentioned above, in cryptocurrency the value comes from speculation. even a project with a real working product sometime can not do much with those hyped token/coin.
cryptocurrency is full of manipulation and speculation, we can not determine which one will have an actual value and which one is not.
nobody knows what will happen in the future, just follow the trend and we will survive.

I'm farming on Quickswap and Sushiswap and it never occurred to me how much I'm losing by not dumping immediately for more wBTC.

But if everyone thought like me then how in the world does SUSHI token and the rest of them (QUICK also) still be valued high?

What is the value of UNI, QUICK and SUSHI? Why are people hording them when they are meant for dumping?
If everyone is doing then you should avoid it or atleast that is the basic investor principle, avoid FOMO. But I am not following any if these sushiswap or staking rewards anymore because in long term people end up in scam than making any money.

Imagine you have around 10% of total supply of coin, what will and can you do if you have enough capital both in coin and fresh money? manipulation.
it happened with many project, at first the whale accumulating the coins and then pressuring the price so we are forced to sell it to get profit.
after they have enough, you should see a massive upward movement in price.
from where the value comes from? it is from speculation, we are speculating the price will go because of something or the opposite. crypto is mostly based on speculation that is why it is easy to be manipulated.

I don't see much upside potential in BTC so I don't sell for wBTC exactly.
I like low-cap DeFi coins instead, I can easily see some of them do a x10. For BTC that would mean $500,000, it would take a crapton of money to get there.
I do actually sell my sushi tokens but I'm not as meticulous as the article you shared would want me to be Cheesy
Learned a thing or two. Apparently I should dump exactly once every 10 days (did the math to the best of my understanding).
