yes, i have testet vircurex longer times, they where hacked two times, but nobody has lost his coins or something else. Its a good provider at the moment for me.

bought at virwox some time ago for 50 €.
The transaction fees are so damn high, effectivly i paid 50€ and received btc worth 40 €.

Yes, they are both legitimate, no doubt about it. I have money in both, never had a problem. However, Vircurex don't accept credit cards. Virwox is having problems because of a new Second Life policy interdicting other exchanges to trade lindens. So, better wait before doing anything.
