The OC scanner is for gaming purposes and I don't think it would improve your mining hashrate but it looks it applies the under volting method and your core will turn into curve.

Much better to learn overclocking the miner through using CPU-z and analyze you can improve the miner's efficiency without affecting stock hashrate.

I don't use it myself, but I have seen a lot of people complaining about not getting the desired speed up or not getting it to work in the first place. From what I can see, there are several versions of MSI AFterburner with or without support for the different nVidia GPU series (pascal vs the newer ones). According to this reddit page you have to have the latest version and the right drivers.

I'm looking for free spin.
Are you guys using the OC scanner feature on MSIafterburner?
I would like to ask if it improves your mining hashrate with this new feature on MSIafterburner?

I'm currently testing it with different GPUs but it seems I don't see any improvement except for gtx 1060 it improve the efficiency.

How about your mining rig?
