no there's only linux and OSX.

Well that's a bit of a shame, but I'm sure it will be rectified in the future Smiley

I just set up my first OpenBazaar store and am pretty excited by the platform. That said, the store list is pretty sparse, so I figured it might be nice to start a list of stores people in the Bitcoin community are running, so we can have trusted places we can go buy things from (and experiment with the platform).

I'll start: I just opened a store called "The Product" and am selling customizable bead bracelets (like from your childhood, but with funky phrases and curse words allowed).

p.s. I have no affiliation with OpenBazaar
p.p.s I wrote a guide about opening a store here!

awesome, I want to build my own store Cheesy
thanks for informing..., Grin
but, is there any windows version maybe..?

I have a business related with bitcoin, but I don't have one, I want to set up my store there, how it's work? Looks like I need open my windows 24 hours? What that's mean Huh

yes. imagine it like a torrent you're seeding. however, you can setup a store via a VPS (digitcalocean) - search this thread, there's a dedicated service offering to setup a store for you.

How if I'm not open my windows for 24 hours? It's make me lose out?

your shop won't be visible when you're offline. means no one could buy your stuff

Oh I see, thanks Smiley
I will build my store ASAP. It's make me exciting Grin

Looks cool, im tempted to open my own shop and sell some things, the question is, looking at BitLicense and it's contents.. how long till the awesome ease of setting up your own shop and start selling gets ruined by stuff like that?

that's really great, however, OpenBazaar is too hard to setup and maintain in this early state. is there a windows version yet? last time I checked it was only possible with a VM

I don't have one, I am not selling anything so don't need one but that does looks nice.

How does it work? Can I view your store over the web or do I have to run the software to see it as well? I mean say I wanted to buy one of these Wristlets, how will I go about buying it and is there an escrow or a middleman that ensures that I will get my product in good shape or do I just have to trust you/other-sellers that they will send me my product after getting paid?

Pleased to see people opening up their own stores already, we can only hope some charitable causes will adapt this model Smiley

Nice! Thanks for the write up Jesse. I think I'm going to have to give this a try. How would someone on windows get started? Will they have to use a command line shell?

I initially set up my site on my Mac, but then realized I needed it up 24/7, so started setting it up on a VPS. Eventually, I found Provistor, which spins up an OpenBazaar store if you connect your Digital Ocean account - pretty awesome Smiley

Thats pretty awesome... so did you connect via windows? Have you made a sale yet? Are you running your computer 24/7 to keep the store online or do you have some other way?
