If you are a salesman, you must know the product you sell to explain to the customer the benefit of the product to them. I am not sure about the resource because I do not know what you sell and how you sell that product. Maybe you can explain more details so we can know and suggest something that can help you improve yourself.

that happened when you experience multiple failures , i have been in the same shoe when i lose my Job back years ago and when i try finding another yet there are no luck , but |Good thing is i have a supportive wife and she keeps me motivated even sometimes i am losing hope.I had a very different day today.

regarding Sales work, first you must have an Appeal to people if you are not good looking at least you must be funny and have a cool outlook , because in sales the term " First impressions lasts" is indeed happening, you need to take clients heart even in the first look so you need to build that first.

Is the sales business you're talking about similar to or thesame as sales entrepreneur? I actually searched the Words on the internet, and a clear answer I got is about Sales Entrepreneurs.
Wish I knew why you got into the business in the first place...that could help me determine what answer is most appropriate for you. I would address talented sales business person differently than those doing it mostly for the money, or those who learned that in schools.

Have the rapport with your customers.
Talk to them as if you've known them for a long time. It's not just all about salestalk but talk to them friendly and be honest to what you're offering.
Always give them an option.

I am not experienced in sales but I remember from some training courses when I first started working, that the best way to get better is just practice, practice, practice. Once we have the right technique to offer our services, which most of the times comes as fixed sentences from the company, it all comes down to deliver the sale pitch as naturally as possible to create a bond with the customer.

Accept the rejections that will make you a sturdy minded person because in the saoes field you will see 9/10 people is going to reject your product.
Then advertise it more and also in different way which will attract the people and make them to be curious about trying it.
