I was checking we have one pool few months back which was organized by @ZAINmalik75 have only 7 members as there were fees of 1 mBTC which is currently nearly $65.
Business who likes to sponsor event they want to see a good number of members are hanging around and discussing about a particular matter. If the community does not show interest, and do not build up a unity then finding a sponsor who will pay bigger amount is hard. There are football pools and you will see the crowed is higher there and sponsors offer higher price.

Any update for IPL?

@JSRAW, @LittleMouse, @Haunebu, @Gladitorcomeback etc.
Cricket community is very small here on this forum with mostly are not interested to join any pay pool just because of this most chances we will have no pool until now for the PSL and IPL, but there is no doubt if someone will go ahead like we have in past then he can arrange nearly 6 to 8 members not more than this number.
@Gladitorcomeback is having a pool which is going as its free if we will have any pool like this hopefully number of participants increased because as I was checking we have one pool few months back which was organized by @ZAINmalik75 have only 7 members as there were fees of 1 mBTC which is currently nearly $65.

@Gladitorcomeback etc.

Thanks Royse777 for mentioning. I am ready to start free contest like i did for big bash league and currently managing PSL.  We know that IPL is most interested league ever and many members will be looking for such contest.

Due to religious belief I doesn't want to be part of any contest which have a participation fee and I hope everyone will understand it. If any non gambling project ready to become sponsor , I will be happy to manage IPL contest.

Arrange something for IPL, I will help you to get a sponsor and contribute some fund from myself too. I think once someone will start taking the responsibility again, everyone will start coming back. Count me in.

Understood but why anyone is not interested in the pool? You both replied as soon as I posted this topic @AB de Royse777, @Gladitorcomeback and we can get some of the legends back into action such as @JSRAW, @LittleMouse and @ Haunebu. I can get a few more to participate in the pool before the IPL2024 starts. The only reason it became a failure earlier is because @AB de Royse777 was not active. Let's start it once again with a small amount as a participation fee and we can get more members to participate in the pool. Let us make it more simple by not accessing a third-party website but by using one of our own. If we can pool in we can create our own betting website, What do you guys think?

There are limited members who love to discuss about sports especially cricket. I remembered that first free contest(IPL Matches) was manage by our local community member Umeridrees where AB de Royse777 was officially sponsors.

Bitcointalk IPL Prediction Pool & Discussion 2023

Above contest was run through Superbu(A third party sites to calculate points). I took idea from here but i tried to start with new idea. First contest I managed here with the help of ICOPRESS and contest remains successful and then AB de Royse777 helped me for finding sponsors.

There were total 42 participants in my first contest and also I restricted newbie and junior member. I hope if any new contest with good rewards open, total participants will exceed 50. I am also thinking to create thread about contest management in service board.

You are asking too many questions. May be a survey with a Google form will help you to analyze the data easily and to make a conclusion.

I don't think there are many who are into Cricket in this forum. Many do not understand it, some do but not interested to pay entry fees to join a prediction contest even if there is a good sponsor. In the past I used to host contests and a few times there were good sponsorships too. But there were not many members who were interested to join the party.

Gladiator come back currently is trying to host a few prediction contests. I was able to manage him a sponsor in the altcoinstalks version. You can check it there if you are interested.

I have been an avid cricket lover from the day I understood cricket. I do bet on cricket depending on the cricketing events happening around the globe. I still do not understand why cricket lovers within the forum (except a few) are not interested in betting pools. Lately, I saw a good amount of forum members engaged in competitions and they were successful according to the engagement that thread had last year.

I have been following the cricket prediction contest from last year wherein someone came up with a prediction contest for ODIWC. I saw many cricket individuals participating enthusiastically, and a few of them won Bitcoin as it was a sponsored event. Considering a few big events this year with Cricket such as IPL and the T20WC, please share your experience participating in the past contest. Please share what can be improved and how you feel about a sponsored prediction contest.

I would love to hear from everyone what hampered you to participate in it. I would like to hear from everyone who participated in that contest what made you feel that the contest was not transparent. What made you leave the contest in between and what made you think that the contest could have been more competitive? Please answer my question to help me understand the outcome of any prediction contest. I am asking these questions to help myself if I plan to have something like it.

P.S: This is not a discussion about betting but finding reasons.
