I am wondering and I wanted to ask this kind of dumb question why is it that ICO always start their Bounty before the start of pre-sale and not at the start of actual ICO? Thanks
Bounty campaigns are for the purpose of marketing and starting the campaign before the presale will help publicise it. People won't buy if they don't know about you. That being said many people start bounty campaigns much too long in advance of any actual tokensales. In my experience the most effective campaigns start 2 to 4 weeks before the first tokens are sold. Longer than that and you will see the campaign grow tired and stale and lose all the excitment and momentum before the tokensale starts.
Well I think bounty campaigns are advertising campaign through social media. These methods give the ICO to find potential investors. Most ICOs needs investments before it can start or for it to be really successful.

Because that is the logic thing to do ! They need hype and advertising for there project and they need it in both stages Pre-Ico and main ICO . Even if a project have no Pre-Ico I think they still should start there bounty campaign before there main ICO by a week or 2 .
this is about getting known through bounty
so if many people are already informed at the ico start and there was advertising it helps for a good start and course of ico.

I think starting bounty before presale gives them hype and new people from bounty as well as thread viewers intrest in buying the ico, as you can see most hyped bounty many time reach their hardcap.

Well, I guess bounties for signature campaign, social media, blogs, youtube etc are actual marketing strategies to spread the word and encourage potential investors. This forum is accessed by a very large no of people from all over the world, and thus placing ads in signature will give more exposure to their project and potential investors can get direct access to all information through ANN thread, website, github etc..
