I'm trying to figure out how to turn on my LED light when I have notifications, but NOT when it is charging.

It was working fine when I first got it a couple months ago but I played around with it and now I can't get it working.

The LED will stay lit when it is charging - I don't want that.  I only want it to blink when I have a notification.

Thanks.

I'm closing this thread because no one is even reading my question.  I've learned to live with the issue.   Undecided

no.
no microSD card slot = no way, since the internal memory is too expensive.

@VOD
hit up XDA and root it (open up your world to so much more)
i have seen many custom roms with that feature you mentioned.

Thx for actually answering on topic!  Smiley

I don't want to root the phone.  It voids the warranty with my provider.  I pay for my phone in installments added on to my bill on a two year contract.  It's the way things are done in Canada.

My only experience with Android is on a Nexus 7 tablet. I like it, but I don't have much use for it since I'm always on my desktop computer.

Here's the tut : http://www.phonearena.com/news/The-shining-how-to-disable-the-Galaxy-S6-charging-LED-but-keep-the-notification-light_id72496

Or you can pm me for more info

Note : You need to be rooted. If you are still on 5.0.2 , you can root it without tripping knox. Ive updated mine to 5.1.1 so no root yet for me Sad
