To invest in the illiquid assets is not a things for every one and you need to have the mind of the investors before you can really make money. I don't invest mush in shitcoins and I only buy two time during ico but what I do often is swing trade and I do this in other to actually reduce my risk.

There are many shit coins on the market, we have to research a lot before investing in cryptos. Otherwise, you will end up not making any money because shitcoin will become zero value in days.

When you invest in shitcoins, forget about good sleep. When I invested in Liza it was stressful, cause price was falling like 60%. Such a stress! Now I realised, that I am stupid to make decisions like that, so no more shitcoins
Whole crypto is a lottery and thrash coins are even more, but look at them more nice, they have pumps like 100% or even you can find some that will pump in one day for 500/800% so this investment is so profitable and you don't have to risk thousands on them.

Yes, I sleep well, because I always invest not more than 1% of my total portfolio in shitcoins. And treat them like gambling.
When i started in the crypto i used to be anxious about buying shitcoins with growth expectations, the belief of a possible reversal in values was my motivation in my investments. Today after learning a lot and continuing to study the selection of currencies became more rigorous for me, in short, i do not have this concern anymore.
I wouldn't heavily invested in low quality low marketcap coins. While it's high risk high reward system it doesn't beneficial for big investors to put their money into them.
Even investing in solid coins is not working, my own portfolio is like 70-80% down and everything seems like shit at the moment, i do not know how much time recovery will take but i believe that everything will be back stronger than ever.
dude what sleeping!? I am almost suffering insomnia, stay late at night. Woke up every two-three hours....thinking about my money/invested one in crypto. Check often crypto wallets, check prices when in the bed. Wish another rocket for btc just to sell my positions and leave it forever.

The lottery part is a bit true especially when you invest on an ICO that doesn't have much support from the community and didn't raised a good amount of fund to develop the platform so in that regards you're only hope is the team if they can execute the project very well. I also think that many of them like lottery. If you make the right choice, of course you can get really good profits. In my opinion, to make good choices, you should follow the good team's works and the news about the new coins.
Yep I can sleep well while investing in shitcoin but I only invest like 5% of my portfolio in shitcoin since it is high risk high reward investment but I think most of the time, it worth the investment.
Better invest in altcoins that you believe in, doing researches about it and reading every detail in their whitepaper rather than investing unto something that you dont have any knowledge about.
Its hard the sleep well if you are new into the market and it is also hard if you invested in multiple scam coins that are very risky. If you are longer in the market it is easier to realx because you already saw that the most coins are going to recover after the bear has gone.

We do not really know what is the outcome of the coin because crypto behavior seems to be unpredictable. That is why many coins are being created and others have really has a low value calling them shitcoins. But for me, I still believe that we can make still make profit from it even how small it is. if you know thats shitcoins you should stay away and don't make any investments
The investor/trader should be calm. To be calm you should invest not in shitcoins but in promising projects. There are much more chances are that normal coins will bring you profit. Invest correctly and sleep peacefully 
there are to many variables at play to do that. investing in crypto's is pretty risky in itself but investing in known shitcoins is just more gambling. i at least like to have a good chance to make some money.

Don't invest on shitcoin , i have try investing one of them it's just dumping i lost a lot of money on it, but lesson learn first analyze the coin before investing on it , Some shitcoin really make you a lot of money but don't push your luck on it, because it may be the reason you will lose a lot of money. Shitcoins are the junk altcoin developed by the team in order to push prices to a large profit and then disappear. Few shitcoins exist long after the market because most of them have no long-term development orientation and plan. I think investors should focus on long-term projects to invest, ignore the shitcoins because it does not bring sustainable value to you. 
Yes you are right, it is nothing more than the lottery. For this reason I never invested in any, and never will, because odds are against you that you will make money. It is so easy to make money by trading established crypto-currencies, why the hell should I get a bad moment with shitcoins ?

people like you seeing them like the lottery are the same reason the market goes through such rapid swings and the worst of the worst coins like bitconnect become multibillion dollar scams. People don't spend the time to look at the projects and find the real quality ones that are actually innovative. Most of those are at much lower market caps because they are actually making improvements and not just spending all day advertising and making false promises. Spend some time, get an understanding of the blockchain and it will be clear as day what projects are worth buying and what projects to stay away from.

I strongly believe that no reasonable human being will invest his or her money in a shitcoins if he is fully aware that the coins are shitcoins. And after investment you find out that it was actually shitcoins that you invested your money you have no option than to face the music and as for me, I will sleep well and learn a hard lesson from my mistake for not doing enough research before investing those coins.

I think it's better to spend more time and invest in solid project. I usually dump bad coins early to minimize risk and sometimes the price gets really high

Yes they are totally lottery I agree but, most shit coins are able to stay stable in a crash and I don't think people invest in those coins big amounts like $100K, people invest little amounts in them.
I trade some shitcoins as we call it. But only for short trades. I've earned a few hundred dollars trading them. Just don't keep them for so long. I prefer investing on legit ICOs with promising projects. Money is important we should put them where we could earn and benefit.

They are definitely a lottery and people are still putting their chance on their luck. Some shitcoins have paid us well and the dev team has proved their existence even after being a shitcoin for a long time.

It depend on what shit coin you refer to. Many good coin out there but people still calling it shitcoin and if i see the coin is really shit or worthless i will never investing on it. Coin with the real project is not shitcoin but still have a chance to fail if the project fail the coin will goes worthless thats why you have to deviraify your investment.
No harm in using a small amount of money *like 5 percent of your bankroll) to invest in super high risk low marketcap coins.
I have never invested in shitcoins because it is except my conviction. I only search and invest in promising altcoins with a promising future. So many nice projects in crypto-world. I am sleeping well all the time.

Yes i still sleep well when i'm investing in Shitcoins because i only invest a few money in it and i can efford to lose them without getting any troubles. I think if you're realizing that you're investing in shitcoin so you have to accept that you're facing with a huge risk and the only way to deal with huge risk is low invest.

yes, you are absolutely right - this is a lottery. IF you want , you need to invest no more that 1% of your deposit here.However, I can say 1 of 10 coins can make x20 and cover loses on previous scams. With very large deposits, I would not recommend playing such a game.

Lol i really laughed after reading your thread title, i think every crypto investor is a risk taker, sometimes the investment performs well sometimes not, you are mostly investing in an idea when ever you buy a coin and that idea may not come out well, for example i invested in a project called Numeraire that i thought was a huge quality project, the hype initially was huge as well, i bought that at high price and then it was dumped and never came back, the project and ceo of the project lacks updates that is hurting the project, im still holding them for more than 6 months and just waiting for a new uptrend but it is just testing my patience since 6 months. Lets see when it will be back.

Yes investing in shitcoins is like a lottery and you cannot earn money from it. You will just lost everything you invested on. But this will be prevented if we will choose a coins that has the potential to burst and not those shitcoins.
I've been known to lose 30% or more of an investment in a 24 hour period and still have no problems sleeping. I have just learned that all you have to do is wait it out and it will rebound. I can however see how some people have issues with this.
I don't see what the issue is with investing in shitcoins, because some of them will end up making it. More importantly, besides that why should you feel bad for making money and being smart while somebody else was not being so? Nice, when you invested in many coins you cant really sleep well. Your funds is their during trading it might lose once you left behind. Yes this is why needs to observe the market and always be updated.

First you need to know ehat shit coin mean ? If the coin back by real developer and real project its not shit coin in my opinion. And it only need time to sky rocket. Look at dent and other coin which claimed to be shitcoin and now in the bullish mode.thousand and thousand percent in return for early investor.

I invested Oyster Pearl PRL last a couple of months and I'm thinking I'm just gonna bury it and try to check every other month but when it started to pump I could even go to sleep earlier than I used to be.
What happened is that I can't sleep well if you're having good coins.
I think yes, investing shit coins is a nightmare but I think it's just a part of success. Recently, I tagged Oyster PRL as shit coin because it's almost had no value or as low as $0.005 but suddenly it pumped after a couple of months so, now from shit coin to pearl coin.

if you see it like that then all coins have different fate. No one can guarantee that a coin can grow or die it will be always depend on the market. For me it's better to invest on project worth investing on. But still I'm holding at @Viberate its staying strong and the community is getting bigger and bigger. You can try investing now while the price are low.

When you put it that way, all coins are like the lottery. There's no guarantee that just because a coin has tech behind it that it'll do well - take Ethereum for example. A lot of people thought it was a scam in the beginning but now it's doing really well. The same could be said for the reverse.
