So far early to speak about change of the king and in the future it will be difficult. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and digital gold. here it is difficult that that to make. He as mascot.
Yes for sure, its too rigid and bloated. Something will take its place but not for at-least 2 years.

I think, there are many altcoins which have big potentials for the future. But, taking bitcoin's place someday? I don't think so.
I can't rely say, but I feel there will be another coin that will likely give Bitcoin fight for its number position, so expect this to start from next year, BTC will still be a dominant force but people want more

It's not impossible to happen that, since alt coins are gradually recognizing now. Surely it has the chance to replace Bitcoin in the future. Knowing whether the alt coins that are stable today are Bitcoin Cash, Btc Gold, and ethereum. If investors invest in those alt coins, then it will make history in the world of cryptocurrency, like today's bitcoin.
Etherum will be just close but never take bitcoin place so i think this is the first and the least king, etherum could only be second but still it will just pump with bitcoin to nice prices.

I think that not a single coin will replace bitcoin at all in my whole life. I mean at least next 20-30 years. Bitcoin has great advantage being first coin ever. It will carry this whole its life!

No that is not going to happen, Bitcoin is the king of crypto currencies and will be so for ever, many altcoins will grow well but won't be anywhere near bitcoin.

There are already lots of alt-coins gunning for bitcoin show boating that they have faster transaction/confirmation time, lower fees or completely anonymous, but none of them beaten bitcoin yet.
I believe that there will be an alt that will take the place of bitcoin. We need a better crypto that can process millions of micro transactions with virtually less fees. But more than that, it should have the trust of the community, because without it, it will never overcome bitcoin.

The biggest annoying flaw Bitcoin has is the extreme growing high price, and with this flaw, Altcoins will find unique ways to solve it and bring forth incredible bitcoin like coins with less growing speed and high profits.

There is possibility that many coins will appear to be more attractive than bitcoin in the next next years. We all know that 5 years ago bitcoin is not yet known in the market. Due to publicity or other ways it was spread in the market, bitcoin become very strong. Maybe this time is Bitcoins' time to bloom.
Not before mass global adoption I suppose. First world must truly understand what altcoins are (among other terms like blockchain, crypto, PoS/PoW...), then market will decide sooner/later.

Why not? If it will appear good coin that can change the cryptocurrency and fiat currency then it can quite replace bitcoin in the future. This is very simple when the world is always change, is always developmental.

As you have already mentioned one of the biggest flaws bitcoin has is the high fees and long transaction times which are often very inconveniencing to the user and it is for this reason other coins will be considered to take up bitcoins position if no fix is found and honestly nothing lasts forever which is calling a spade a spade especially when it comes to technology, these takeovers always happen ,hope a fix comes soon to give bitcoin a long life.
I don't think bitcoin can be replaced. It is impossible to copy or recreate the features that makes bitcoin valuable. Bitcoin have grown organically. There is no single point of failure, nor any participants with to much power. The best developers are devoted to bitcoin, and it is the most secure network in the world.

Whatever coin comes to the market. All the coins next to bitcoin only and they will consider as altcoin only. Not saying that as a main coin. So you have to understand that bitcoin will be always a master in the crypto market.
Early miners holder the bitcoin strongly and there the people managing the bitcoin economy at all. We will not find any failure at anytime because they will not let that happen at anymore.
If anyone launches the new coin first their coon circulation should increase and value should go higher with the demand. We cannot expect that on other coins for sure.
Bitcoin will probably never die, but I can imagine that certain coins will take its number one place. As with all things, you don't have to be the first but you need to have a better product. Look at Skype, they became a big player even when chat application were around for along time already. When a product is easy to use it will probably surpass another product which takes some effort to be used.

Nope altcoins is never replace bitcoin, especially the price. If we talking about the price, the price of altcoins is never surpass or even reach the bitcoin price. Altcoin can replace bitcoin IF the price of that altcoin can reach bitcoin price and that altcoin must be popular. I think bitcoin will stay number 1 crypto currency forever.

Remember the cryptocurrency that holds around 50% of the total transaction in the cryptocurrency is ethereum. It looks so difficult to take the adoption of the bitcoin. But about the alternative crypto with a better scalability and ethereum already answered it. We know this time the blockchain of ethereum gets congested. But that means about how etheruem can be used to build the more dapps in the future if the more improvement in the scalability will have fixed from the sharding blockchain. For me, bitcoin will never be replaced by any altcoins out there. I mean, bitcoin has been there for almost 8 years now and there had been also a lot of altcoin that emerged throughout the years and none of them could go toe to toe with bitcoin and replace it as the cryptocurrency king. Right now, there are few altcoin that has small potential but still, it is a far cry for comparing them to what bitcoin achieved so far.

That is true but don't day that in the future, no coin can take over bitcoin's place. Unless bitcoin improves, sooner or later people would start using other altcoins that are more efficient to use when compared to bitcoin. Btc itself needs improvement on it's transaction speed or else another coin will take over it when a better coin to use in micropayment appears. For now I'll say that no altcoin that exist today can take over it.

There is no proof that no altcoin can surpass Bitcoin. Altcoins have very good prospects, it gained a strong position on the market and it is not just only some reserves. BTC is in first position but if nothing changes I predict it will go the way of and be outpaced by other newer coins.

why not? i believe that is possible that bitcoin will be replaced someday by much better coins out there because bitcoin is not that superior at all . some other altcoins like bitcoincash and etherium are far better when compared to bitcoin because both of them are dont have any known issues and they have much better usage and properties when compared to the great old bitcoin. sure bitcoin is still the most popular coin so far because more new people are still going for it but soon when people get used to it and when they realized that bitcoin is not really worth to use due to some major problems like slower transactions and higher fees then they will soon find them selve's switching and using other alternatives like the ones i mentioned earlier.

While a project like Ethereum and etc have undergone significant and enterprising pivots in their roadmaps. I believe it because Bitcoin and its community are ideologically committed to maintaining something close to its original design. So no matter what happens, Bitcoin will have a special place in the hearts of their users. The good thing is lightning network is being applied to Bitcoin network, let's see how it going to play.
Hardfork is the effort of some people to make rivals for BTC. has been done several times and driven by people who have interests. their results always fail and this shows BTC will not be invincible and difficult to stop.

I think its hard for other coin to take bitcoins place. Bitcoins value is so high and no other coin is near its value. But i did not say that there were s no coin that can beat bitcoin. There are a lot of coin that have potential to grow in the future. But they will take long years before they can beat bitcoin
