Topic: do you think bounty hunters should be penalized?? (Read 260 times)

we have to be careful in choosing projects, a few years ago my friend was penalized for promoting the hyip project he got red on that, so his account was difficult to join every signature. but I don't know for the current rules, does it get banned? I think intentionally or not, it should just be told it doesn't have to be banned.

Hope you are aware that if a user keeps posting irrelevant and useless posts, that are always deleted in numbers, with time that user would be nuked for a while, to warn them, and if the warning does nothing to change such garbage posting habit,  that user could be banned permanently. So do not just post whatever you wish(garbage), and hope for the forum to help you with the cleaning job, you should also know that with time, penalties would follow.

So, you want to say that you got banned from Bitcointalk previously and now you're evading ban?
Now I will try to answer your questions with my thoughts:
1. Who are "they"? Bounty hunters aren't getting banned as long as they aren't breaking forum rules. Even if you promote scam project, you won't get banned. Red trust rating is worst what can happen.
2. It's their task to make reasearch about project before starting to promote it. Saying that you didn't know it's scam isn't excuse.
3. Nope, because scams aren't moderated here.

Does it not bother you at all that most of the forum knows that you were busted posting sneaking around using a sock puppet for extra bounties until you were caught out??

I mean how can you lecture people on the very things that you yourself were caught doing?? spamming away racist trolling garbage jumping from one bounty to the next to get max bounty returns???

You are out of line trying to speak for any "elites" here because you are not in contact with any of them nor would they give you time of day.

Now to address the points in the initial post directly

1. you need to find out exactly WHY you were banned? It could be for something else.

2. You need to realize only DT members are allowed to facilitate scams or suspected scams and get paid for it here. There is a 2 tier system you are unaware of.

You need to get the possible scam or clear scam to say they will be pushing a sig campaign regardless. Then you pipe up and say well I better profit from making sure they pay the bounty hunters right??  i mean they are going to do it anyway I may as well make some money?? and make sure people get their bounties??

You will need to be DT before you attempt this. DT1 and fully entrenched with some pals who can get in on it. Then it will be okay. Until then, do not say or do anything DT may not like or you can be given red trust and a flag.  Well actually if you are banned then you are stuck in this thread so pretty much game over.

You now need to listen to the pharmacist aka HugeBlackWoman lecture you on not doing things he does whilst he gets paid at the highest rates to shove his double standards holier than garbage down your throat. Better to self terminate and accept your fate.

I can almost guarantee you that nobody here cares that you lost those worthless stakes.  Not other bounty hunters, not the bounty manager, not DT members, nobody.  Bounty hunters are basically looked down upon here by many members because they flood the forum with garbage posts in a language that they don't know how to write.  See the quote of yours above.

The elites also don't care about your situation, though I may be out of line trying to speak for all of them, whoever they are.

This forum officially has nothing to do with bounties or bounty hunters.  If you get banned, it's not because you're in a bounty, it's because you broke forum rules--and that happens a lot because bounty hunters never seem to know what the rules are.  Good luck in your career as a spammer.  I'm sure you'll do well.

I just reported your last post due to making multiple posts in a row (that will be deleted soon). So, it's obvious that you are not aware of forum rules.
Your other account has been banned due to breaking forum rules (most likely plagiarism)
As it is already said by other users, you won't be banned due to promoting a scam. Scammers themselves are not banned let alone those who are promoting them.

By the way, one of other rules that you are not aware of is about "ban evasion". You have made some posts outside "meta" board too.

you won't be banned for that, but you may get flagged or negative trust
and since your alt was banned, you will be considered evading ban if you continue posting using Cryptomiles1 account

you can mention the project here, but which one is your banned account?
it's more likely that you were banned for plagiarism than just promoting scam project
because this forum doesn't moderate scams

To try to know a little more about your case, what is the name of this banned account ? With this banned account you have never plagiarized ?

And you should read or reread the rules of the forum and more particularly the part on ban evasion.

sometimes saying we are spamming of posting irrelevant  post, you all should likewise go to our profile to read the post scan to all post made by any user of the forum, after accessing his details then you all can delete most made by such user.

I dont think there is a problem with the bounty you are promoting the problem here is the post quality you make while promoting that website .
If ita from campaigb you participating you will see also other members that join in that campaign will also get ban. But because they are  not ,only your account get banned .

i think there are no rules about bounty hunters that got penalized and about your ban may be because you made a spam post?

i'm sure there will be warning  first before you get penalized. there are users who will first expose that the project you are promoting  is a scam so look to its bounty thread and ANN thread to see the  warning when you discover that the project has scam accusation. if proven that the  team or a project is very  suspicious with scam accusation DTs will ask you not to  join the campaign else you'd be sanction. bounty campaigns are unregulated which is why users are fighting the scams, no one else would do it but us the users.

you are getting banned caused by you are violating the forum rules. there is no other reason than it and that must be your main reason why you are getting banned in the past in result losing your stakes.

The hunters or managers might have done analyzation just like trying to analyze the WP, or even the team itself. Remember the scam projects always used a plagiarized whitepaper or try to fake the team by stole others photo from the internet. If you are only participating and what you deserve should be the negative trust, if you are abusing the forum rules and your punishment should be banned. 

You must read all of the forum rules carefully.

No, but people who knowingly promote scams deserve to end up broke, hungry and all alone for Christmas, imho.

This forum provides clear guidance about the policy of Not trying to police scams. In case it is not already clear, you were banned for spamming or breaking other rules, not promoting a certain project.

You must know the forum rules before promoting such and it's pinned on this section: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ.

If they have gathered enough information and proof of how a project being a scam. They don't accuse a project without validating and providing their proofs.

This is also your question number 1.

You can set a basis base on the standards of good bounty managers and what projects they manage.

Prize hunters will not be penalized if they meet the requirements, when the bounty hunters break the rules, have negative beliefs, or conduct campaigns that are not qualified, they will be removed from the list of prize hunters, so you don't need to be afraid if you are doing it right.

I don't think bounty hunter might be punished for promoting a scam project, there must be something else like you breaking one of the rules in the forum.
Obviously if the project is a scam we are victims who are not paid for the project. Why should we be blamed

I have been bordered about something that is really scaring me on this forum, I don't really know if any of you has came across this too; there was a project I joined on this forum that led to the ban of my account, this made me lose my stakes for the other projects in the rest weeks and I was touched to raise this issues so that It will be trash at once and let me here from the Elites of the forum. though I don't really know if someone else has already raised this same issues that is bordering me right away.

now my questions is
why are they banning bounty hunters for promoting such project??
how did they think bounty hunters or bounty managers knows about the project if it's scam or not??
does bounty hunters or participants of such project requires to be ban or suspended??

I m afraid of promoting project now because I don't know the particular project that I will promote that they won't block my account or ban me
